Pakistani academic channels py aik baat note ki hai mein ny. In k thumbnail ya video title mein yeh zroor likha nazar aye ga; Sir Hesham, Sir flan, Sir flan. Itna ziada Sir Sir to Angrez ni likhty apny saath. yeh hmara culture ban chuka hai. We know you and we respect you but please don't mention yourself as "Sir Waleed Ashfaq" and like some others.
Kindly note it, watch Western academic channels and you don't see Sir more than you. You will be realised. Let's check : you go to in the class and you introduce yourself as " Mein hon Sir Waleed Ashfaq" and will you feel ,😅🤣🤣🙏🙏

We agree however it is part of the eastern culture to respect someone with a surname which was earlier used to be: Malik, Khan Bahadur, Sultan, Nawab, Chaudhry, Mian, Numberdar and so on. The connotation of Sir in our region is different than what it means over there in the west. For us Sir doesn't mean subjugation or subservience, Here it is a sign of respect.
PS, Our video editing team adds the tittle and other additions/alterations, We wouldn't mind if they continue calling us Sir. Thanks

@@CSSExamined i appreciate This logical reply without getting offended. It makes sense.
As a woman I use "Sir" to call a teacher, a male colleague ,senior or of my age group, at workplace; any educated, unknown ,or a qualified person despite knowing his name Bcz sometime we don't prefer calling someone by name in Respect, or to show formal behavior. That's my point.
