Storm Sweeps Through Town, Heavy Rain Fills the Drains, Little Whirlpools When I Clear them

- A big storm with lots of lightning swept through town. The rain poured and the gutters filled, and I headed out with my trusty gumboots and my new rake. Clearing the gutters made a few little whirlpools as a the water disappeared.

That’s gotta be tough! Raking wet soggy sludge with 1 hand. Thx for sharing with us. While you’re raking I’m wondering “why is he raking 3 feet to the left of the drain?” Then a minute later a whirlpool starts, aha! There’s a drain there! I guess I need more patience as I watch these. I wonder what you’re thinking as I watch.

I LOVE summer storms! I prefer to watch and listen while maintaining a semblance of dry.
The good thing about a summer storm is that it tends to be warm. At least getting wet isn't too unpleasant then!

Good unclogging job! The water was deeper than it looked until you put your rake in. So a nice wet spring may bless you with a nice warm and floral summer. I always enjoy your videos. Thanks for sharing them. Your rainy spring day was our rainy fall day. We got 3” of rain. Stay safe.

Although, I started with post 10, the video with the unclogging the drains, I a watching any clip like this, with same pleasure. Also, I find theses videos, VERY STRESS RELEASING ones...
So, good job! And, because will become a trend, to do clips like that, ( anyone can do ) I would like very much that the author to post his remarks, his thoughts and how he felt, watching the drain removing the water.

With the water flowing, a lot of it gets washed away as it should. It's the initial blockage that's the problem

I'm surprised the homeowner didn't run out to tell you not to put that crap on his lawn. When I worked on the highway they'd run out in the pouring rain just to tell us that
To most it dosent matter as long as you do not damige or litter the property,I mean what would you pick water gone or big floding
So they'd prefer their yard flooded?

Well I'm a bit disappointed.....if you're going to clean the drain then put it up onto the curb and gutter not still on the ground where the water is trying to get to the drain! Sorry, not impressed, I guess I'm spoiled from post 10. 👎
