Terry silently watching Claudia's suffering with that forlorn expression on his face was heartbreaking to me. It's a different kind of heartbreak when you love someone so much but they can't stop self-destructing
I realized something. That moment when Viren told Soren to step forward so he could cast the hearts of cinder spell on him, and how Soren said he was afraid. That was a direct parallel to what Viren did to Lissa. She said she didn’t want to do it and that she was afraid, and Viren forced her anyway. He might’ve forced Soren too if Kasef hadn’t volunteered himself. And like Lissa, this is where Soren sees that Viren is a monster and realizes he can’t stay anymore. He hopes Claudia will come, but when she says she can’t choose, he decides to leave so she won’t have to choose.
@@AshEastwoodThank god Kasef unintentionally saved Soren’s life by volunteering to help Viren win the war against Xadia for his desire for revenge in the final battle thus becoming a monster like him.
It’s worst when you realize it’s one of those cruel ironic twists with dark magic. Claudia got her dad back, but her actions left him so horrified that he leaves her of his own free will. At least through death one could say that it’s not Claudia’s fault, but in this case it is
Soren tried to convince her to leave with him but she wouldn't because she didn't want to choose between families I know what that's like it hurts too much and now she feeling she has nothing left to lose
1:16 It hurts more when you realize that this is the last time Claudia will see her father, alive. Even more so that she only spent the last 30 days trying to keep him alive
They all left cuz they found the right path, but claudia didn't even though everyone tried to show her the good path including Callum,Soren , Ezran, Viren , And even Terry. And when she went to Viren to finally help herself Aaravos killed him
Yeah exactly. That's always annoyed me about Claudia. She's completely incapable of making her own choices so she just goes along with everyone else's. She's always been a follower and can't even be a leader of her own life.
@@benkirkman1866 A lot of people are like that IRL Not everyone is a "leader" but that's not always a bad thing. Some people just learn at a different pace than others

@@leewong7421 Yeah, Claudia needs proper guidance and Aaravos is not the right one to do so for her He knows what he's doing to keep her under his thumb (metaphorically speaking)
After last hug, Viren let go of his daughter and started his journey to Katolis to face his own truth, leaving Claudia alone on her wail and sob as her family she had left abandoned her
Claudia doesn't deserve this. Her family is so heartless for abandoning her and the only person who hasn't left her isn't her blood relative and that's Terry. It goes to show that the family you choose is better than the family that you're born into.
I wonder how her arc will end. Part of me wants her to get redemption, like perhaps her arc will end with she either turn herself in willingly or she goes to self exile to atone for her crimes and find peace. My other part want to see Claudia live long enough to embrace her full villainy. Completely subverting her care for those she used to be friends with. Purely sociopath, and she’ll be one of the recurring villains in case of the future saga. But either way will do. As long as it is magnificently written.
The first and last scene made me cry, they were so so very sad. And I mean all of the first and last scene not just what you had in this video. Soren leaving Claudia was sad but wasn’t nearly to the level of emotion as the other scenes
When you're looking for approval and wants to keep your loved ones close to you no matter what, this will happen. When You truly love your family, sometimes you have to let them go, and let them make their own decisions. It's hard to let go someone you love... But still I feel bad for Claudia, Soren and Viren.
I feel that on season 7 if terry leaves Claudia this will cause her a psychologically damage because it seems Claudia has a trauma when the people she loved so much leave her,so if terry leaves Claudia she would lost not only the last person she feels love but also she will lost the path of freedom and enter interyli to the dark path something that aaravoz is going to use in he’s favor
And consider that Terry promised that he would never leave her, if he does… I think this would shatter her sanity and Aaravos would manipulate her even more
From all these stories people who left Claudia they only wanted to do what was right to them. For her mother, it was getting away from Vieran and his malicious ways. For Viren, it was to help get a path of freedom by learning to except that you have to make a path of responsibility to. And that he was not willing to ask for mercy or forgiveness just for a path of the right to choose a path of freedom. But for Soren, I get why he had to leave and I don’t blame him, but I’m just disappointed that he didn’t try harder to make his sister come with him. I mean if he really her as her big brother why didn’t he see what his dad was giving her the same path he took? Or has a big brother forced her to come with him? I know if my big brother found out one of our parents were evil and another left when we were kids. He would be the first one to say that we’re leaving together. And I know Soren was going through a lot at that time with finding out that his father asked him to basically commit treason. And getting a second chance from king Ezra’s But still even after finding out that. He didn’t just walk up and say to Claudia or even try to help her after their dad died the first time like going looking for her or saying more times in that time he’ll be there for him. Maybe Claudia wouldn’t have been the monster she is now.
Honestly Lissa sucks for just abandoning her kids like that. Like those are your kids too you can't just walk out of their lives bc you're scared of your husband! And when you think that husband is a monster? Well done, mother! It gets even worse on rewatch of I think season 3 where Claudia reveals that Lissa actually encouraged her to stay with Soren and Viren because "they need each other" or some drivel like that. Had me almost screaming at the screen "THEY'RE F@%KING KIDS". No wonder poor Claudia turned out the way she did.
Exactly💯 I don't think she can be called a "mom" because there's no canon evidence that she ever bothered to keep in contact with them. She doesn't like Viren anymore? Fine, that part is her business. That being said, leaving her own kids behind was stupid
I wish Viren had realized before he died the first time his acts were pointless before putting Claudia on this dark path with Aarovos after seeing everyone leaving her it was tough then when Viren does the same i can't help but feel for her even when she slaughtered and butchered everything thats innocent now she'll be waiting for Aarovos thinking she has nothing left to lose
