WHY I QUIT THE BEST JOB I'VE EVER HAD

Well guys, the title pretty much gives it away but I left the best, most amazing job I've ever had to spend more time with my family and to spend more time pursuing my true passions. Something I've said my entire life is that my only goal as a husband/father/provider is to provide my family with the lifestyle they deserve but never at the expense of spending that life with them.
I still can not wrap my head around the fact that I am now going to be able to do that at a level I never dreamed possible. This truly is my dream life. I've never been driven by money, or titles, or aspired to be a great leader in the workplace. In fact, I often thought something must be wrong with me because when people get together it seems so many of them are defined by what they do for work. That's the only question anyone ever wants to ask is what do you do for a living? Then they go on and on talking about work. All I ever want to talk about is my family, what they're up to, what they're into, what hopes and dreams I have for their future. But it seems when I want to talk about weekends with the family, I get strange looks and the conversations quickly switches back to business.
Anyway, that's a long winded way to say I think I might just be wired differently and so my #1 passion and priority has always been my family. Everything I do from the minute I wake up until the second I fall asleep is for them. Working hard and earning a living is a huge part of that. But as I stated previously, I never wanted to chase money or corporate accolades at the sacrifice of meaningful relationships with my wife and kids. So while this was one of the hardest decisions we've ever made as a family, with that end goal in mind it was also ultimately one of the easiest.
As I say in the opening of the vlog, even if this fails spectacularly and I'm begging for my job back in a year, it will be a year filled with making memories, and time spent together, and moments we can never get back lived to their fullest!
So what does this mean for the channel? Well for starters, I'm not going to die at a young age from treating my body like garbage. So that's a plus :P It also means we can put together more content like videos on each of the kids' TH-cam channels, more Laz vids on his channel. We've also made some exciting changes to our website and blog and merchandise that we can't wait to tell you about. So many more things are possible now with a singular focus on being the best family and family vloggers we can be!
We are ecstatic for the future and have no idea what's in store, other than time spent together making and sharing memories with all of you. And that sounds pretty fantastic to us! #ThisIsHowWeBingham
