    amazing sound bought two original units.but struggled a lot with connectivity issues, for support i advised BO people to send their engineers to bose corporation .finally gave one unit to an engineering kid..other unit grounded as dead but alive..

    Best speaker i've ever used ! I bought 2 of them just for the sake of stereo feature.BUT so much connection problem when paired in stereo mode ! I hope 2nd gen fixed that huge problem.

    beautiful, I would consider buying it if it were compatible with Siri. Until then i will have to stick with Homepod mini, though I would love to have this one instead. :(

    Hi, bought a couple of these recently for stereo pairing and they do sound very, very good. Though when they are turned off, the next time they are used the stereo pairing is turned off. I’ll always use them in stereo - so will I always have to connect them again every time? Might a future software update fix this so they remember their stereo state? Thanks

      Once the speakers have been disconnected and switched off, it is necessary to pair them in stereo again the next time you use them.
      We will, however, forward your feedback to our development team for review. They might not be able to implement the desired changes, but they might be able to make adjustments for more user-friendly ness.

    Very lovely best speaker I ever had , I was using Bose revolve + , but with my Beosound A1 2nd Gen , Damn It’s Super and the best speaker out there , I hope they release 3Rd Gen of it , and I will happily buy that too , I like the shape of it , and if I ever have any problem with it can I take it to your location in New York to fix it ? And change my mesh aluminum cover too?

      Hello Matteo,
      Thank you for your comment. To use Google Fast Pair on your Android phone, the Android version installed has to be 6.0 or higher. Ensure that Bluetooth and Location are enabled on your phone. Turn on Beosound A1 2nd gen. If the LED is not flashing blue immediately after turning it on, please hold down the Bluetooth button for 2 seconds.
      Tap "tap to pair" on the screen of your phone/tablet. You then should get a notification "pairing complete".

I believe though that it would be good for prospective customers to record a video showcasing both Swift Pair and Fast Pair, to make them understand how easy it is connect the speaker to their laptops/smartphones. It would bring added value to your marketing material :)

    Hi team, I am thinking of buying your Beosound A1 Gen 2 speaker. Two quick questions, please: if I leave it plugged in permanently at my desk, will that impact battery life? Can I remove the strap (As it won't leave My desk) and if yes, will this affect the look of the speaker? Many thanks in advance, for your time.

    Wow just got my G2 and running software update. Are you guys learning from Windows? The 7 minutes estimated update took something like 25 mins. You are B&O. Deliver on your brand promise ;)

      Just got the A1 2nd gen, and update the firmware to 5.3.0, the estimated 3 minutes took around 10 minutes instead, using a iPhone Xr with iOS 15.4.1 and 300Mbps WiFi connection.
      Btw I love the A1, sounds great.

    I couldn't connect spotify to a1, when I ordered it, it only connected to tune in. I have connected to Amazone Alexa and on the app I have connected to sppotify but it still does not work. PLEAS HELP!!!

    Is it necessary to have the app to be able to play music to the speaker?

      The B&O app is not needed to play back music on the speaker. However, we do recommend using the app as it will facilitate you with the latest software for your speaker and provides you options to personalize and therefore optimized the experience with your speaker.

    Hello, I can't pair two device without the app by activating the bluetooth pairing mode as shown on the video. It simply disconnect them from my phone. Is their something that changed bedtween the video and now ?

    How would having the device connected to power all the time affect the battery? Is it smart enough to run off just the cable and turn off charging?
    Thinking about getting one of these to replace my amazon echo but don't want to ruin the battery.

    B&O team - I cannot get it to work with Alexa. I have it enabled in your app and it shows up in the Alexa app but as "disconnected." When I try to remove and repair it, it says "We are having trouble pairing with your device." Please help!!

    My speaker won't connect to the app, it just loads and jump back to the main page multiple times without the speaker being added - clearly a glitch, can't find help on your website either

    I have a problem with mine and its the charging time. Charging usually takes about 6 hours which is way slower than advertised. I connected the cable with my 5V/3A charger brick but nothing changed, still the same. I was wondering if anyone here having the same problem as mine? Please let me know how can i fix this issue.       For the stereo pairing feature to work, the speaker connected to the source (in this case your PC) would need to be connected via Bluetooth. The signal received via USB can not be shared via stereo pairing.

    I am having hard time charging them, have PD 65w usb c charger and the speaker is not charging at all. I tried with norbal USB A to C cable and 5w charger, it took 6 hours to charge to full without use. Pathetic.
