It is only my personal oppinion, but for these prices you can go to much more modern hotels. I think it is too expensive if we see the overall picture. Okay, the oceanview is really beautiful, but if I spent this much money I would like to stay in a little bit more luxury room.
Thank you very much for watching. Kauai is very expensive island to stay. Grand Hyatt is one of the best there is on the island. They got better suite but it is more expensive than what we paid.
Thank you very much for watching. Definitely near the shoreline you can fly your drone. Legally you can’t fly your drone above people, that is why I fly early with there is no people around.
So funny, i was going to let you you know that we already visited and yes, there are koi feeding that the kids can do. And i realize that you labeled it “koi ponds”…i should have guessed it was yes!
No it's definitely not. It's a sizable resort though, grounds are beautiful. I've stayed at Waikoloa and visited this Kauai Hyatt a few times. Waikoloa is for many folks "TOO big"!
Thank you very much for watching. If you stay at the expensive suites, yes it could go up like that high, but we did not spend that much. But yes it is not cheap to book in this resort.
The cheapest I’m seeing for a room is $900 a night , 😅…. One week excluding food and amenities is already $9000 …. Do you have any tips on getting a better deal to the resorts you visit?
It depends on what month you are staying. Summer is the busiest and more expensive. I booked through Hyatt. I search right now for July and Grand Hyatt is fully booked, no rooms available. When I booked last year, I was able to get it for $500.00 / night with free breakfast because of my hyatt status.
Excellent and very spirited review! Thank you! 🙏

@@jeztravel since I have your attention, would you choose maui or kauai? We are going in December.
I’ll choose Kauai, hands down. I have been to the 4 islands and Kauai is now our favorite island especially if you love nature.
Jumped off shipwrecks when I was 19 was a great spot!
Oh damn that seems dangerous isn’t it?
New thumbnail looks beautiful
Thank you man I really appreciate it
It will be my next Hawaiian vacation

is it possible to use drone near shoreline and hotel property?

It is affordable, you won’t regret staying their
Is this resort larger than Hilton Waikoloa Village?
I do not think so

Hilton Waikoloa is just too big and the amenities are spread out. You got to do a lot of walking but good exercise though 😜.
To stay a whole week will cost like $15,000 😅

Get a better job.
overrated hotel. busy and loud, with dated rooms that really need to be renovated.
Thanks for watching, I appreciate your comment.
Aw. I loved this place when we visited 11 years ago. Have you been more recently?
@meghancarr518 thanks for watching the last time I was here was 2 years ago
