I have 2 American toads 🐸, I believe they are both females because I never hear any night callings like the males usually do. One of them constantly hits the other one with her tongue, Even when no food is present to compete over. It just must be some kind of “hen pecking” dominance thing. I can’t figure it out. It looks unpleasant for the toad on the receiving end.

Butters held up pretty well considering he was with bigger toads!🙂🙂 Loved at the end where he grabbed the food and backed up so quick to get out of there! Smart baby!💚💚💚🐸🐸🐸
