Aevatrex, advice. use scatter in order to lower his proc level because his proc slows down the attacks of all heroes. Lastly use dd or sk to have him do the least amount of damage
Also from the fourms Rankdog I think had a suggestion of using dd to tank but from what I could get from it it not really a debuffer team like using ice deamon to stun and artica to remove the buffs and pk to lower energy.
I use Harpy, PD, Cupid, Ork, WL, and Ice Demon. I wait till there is some space between the boss and the goblin, then I drop Harpy because of her SlowDown proc. then the instant that the goblin starts moving towards the Harpy, I drop PD, Cupid, WL, and Ice Demon on the boss and the ork on the goblin (ork has SlowDown 4 crest set). And with a little luck, I can perma slow them and hit 3mins. this is what I can do since I only have reached SM tier. but this is a strategy that even F2P can use. :D
His double evolved ghoulem is restoring just 18000 hp per time,sooo bad My lvl 180 ghoulem which is not evolved restores 14000 hp per time,so lets think when i double evolve him,howww much he will restore hp? Ummmm around 28000 or something?

Damage 218m in 3 minutes. Working to do better. SB damages both. I saw people doing without moltanica but with snowzilla. For imp/goblin i switch HQ with DD (with goblet), and SB with Aries. I put PD in garuda to overcome a bit miss from imp/goblin.
Use your DE dreaddrake to tank, with goblet artifact. That's 90% dmg reduction compared to ghoul's 60%. Ghoul's heal is pretty much insignificant compared to boss-procs and goblet. Ghoul gets the mini-boss's energy way too high. Use pixie and 2 other 5/8 scatter heroes with valentina and PD on eye of garuda. The boss shudn't be able to build energy and u can hit the 3min cap. Even after this u still have a very small chance of losing DD.
aeva, use a scatter team against the little one with SK (goblet of life) tanking... I reached 100kk in this way with one attack. (you must not let him proc or else he debuffs your team)...

Cupid proc buffs everyones damage and gives everyone energy across the map. Purple, i think ppl would choose val for the total amount of energy she gives, it is in fact higher than cupid's. In games modes where u hit damage and attack speed cap, u don't care for cupid's damage buff, or in this case vals cure of silence... Either/both cupid/val could be used, try anything to get stuff to work. I myself don't have molt/artica/val/ghoul so im stuck on trying different setups...and likely can't run a 3min like the other bosses.
You all just need grimfiend with saint faction talent...and pd and ronin...also michael...all woth saint faction...i dont have double evolved but i can defeated that boss for just i try
the artifacts crests and pets should be permanently differently for each game mode. It's such a pain in the but to change everything around all the time. This is why I don't like this game as much
+FavouriteHobbyDrawing I get 3 minutes gaurenteed every round and don't use molt or artica. lvl 6 scatter on frost witch who gets put on the goblin will keep it from procing at all. Aries and a harpy with 6 scatter keeps the main boss from procing. 3 minutes gaurteed for my team.
This right here is not a strategy, nor do we get any tips. This is just pure coining. At that stage there are tons of combos that work, maybe even better.
Aevatrex you have decent skills.. but you need to learn it's not all about evolved heroes and healer and pd..... think a lot more strategically watch SandSeven7 and learn from him.. I can see you copied him in the storm mesa ice demon strategy, watch more of his videos and I heard you said "perma slow".. that's a quote from Sandseven7 "perma stun"... i believe you are copying him just changing words try and do you're own new thing.. that's unique and try and use harpy queen because she slows down attack and movement speed so it helps you have a better chance of winning... And she is a debuffer so that's an extra thing that's good for boss moltanica is actually great too it reduces damage taken to you're heroes so you have a higher survivability against the boss.. but you need to perfect the timing. And druid is better against boss because ghoulem does 18k healing but druid does 50k a heal once evolved when pd starts stacking it's 50k per second plus a attack boost.. I though I would help with this advice if this works for you leave comment me and tell me if there are flaws in my strategy so I can help modify it for you so you have a higher survivability rate and a higher damage rate..

500 merits,500 shards and 500 fame, what everyone needs for the boss 5 reward....

put pd in eye of garuda for accuracy, then put lv 5 berserk crest set because your pd is 5/5 revite if im not wrong

Same I think shards or fame is better than just merits. Like u said we already have a merit boss and u can basically get 2k merits from Mesa or lava

Why don't you put a slow down crest set on the phantom King
Try using succubus and molt for the debuff of damage
when fighting goblin alone, put your PD in eye of garuda, so he'll be able to go full speed
