1st gen Apple Pencil Alternative Styluses for iPad Compared!

In this video I'll be looking at alternative styluses to the 1st generation Apple Pencil and will be comparing them on my 8th gen iPad, seeing which ones will help artists while drawing. I will be comparing styluses such as the Logitech Crayon and cheap MEKO styluses to the Apple Pencil for the goal of finding the best alternatives to Apple's rather pricey offering.

Wait, no replacements come with it? Did you check the box carefully? I was surprised to find an extra tip in the box but it is kind of hidden away unless you completely open the package, in fact I almost just threw the box away so I was glad I didn't. It was on the other end of the strip of cardboard that also held the little adaptor that plugs onto the top of the pen and let's you plug in a lightning cable to charge it directly.......at least I assume packaging is universal with APPLE but who knows?

@@MovieMation Awesome! No problem, I just had to comment as soon as I heard that. Earlier this year I got the iPAD mini 5, it was still up in the air if there would be a 6, but I am very happy with it since it was my first new iPAD since iPAD 3 ! Then as a gift my wife got me the Apple pencil Gen 1 to go with it, I like to doodle and pencil sketch a bit but I never had experienced anything like this, truly amazing.

The jamjake stylus is almost the exact same as the Apple Pencil the stylus does need a charger but it comes in the back it’s about 30$ and it gives free replacements.

He adds that the aplee pencil 1 needs the bluetooth turned on, and the jacke does not need it turned on to give its full potential, the jacke does not have pressure sensitivity but for taking notes I think it is obviously the best.

My first pen was jamjake. After using it for a year, I switched to Yebos. Now I prefer Yebos pen. It works quickly and has long battery life, which allows me to focus on my work better. The most important thing is that the price is only $9.9

What iPad do you have? I got the kxt pencil and it does not work with my 2017 10.5 inch (has home button) I am watching your video and yours has a home button also so is it just user error or is it my ipad?

Would these styluses be good for 3D sculpting on mu iPad?

I've not done any 3D sculpting on the iPad before personally but if you have to rely on pressure sensivity for it then you should get the Apple Pencil, but if not the other good styluses I mentioned should work totally fine.

It should do yeah, Apple's website says that the 1st gen Apple Pencil is compatible with the 1st and 2nd gen iPad Pro 12.9'. the other styluses should all work with it too but not the 2nd gen Apple Pencil
