I find this debate interesting. If spending thousands of dollars on what would be considered popular art could be considered nerdy, then why don't we think of people who do the same with air Jordan's the same way. Seems like there is a double standard here based on common beliefs or ideologies in Culture and society. However tons of people collect. So technically if popularity is the basis as to what is nerdy this would technically be the furthest from the truth given it's current status with the vast majority of our population and it's very apparent massive success. I would consider nerd culture to be somewhat aloof of cultural norms on a number of levels. Meaning that while comics and heroes may have been considered nerdy to 1950'S patriarchal alpha male society... That generation no longer controls the social norms. However we are left with classical belief systems based upon how we were raised and how strongly those ideologies still resonate within our own family structure. Obviously this guy is very successful making these videos and has followed his passion and found a community of people who are interested in this sort of thing. Which is also a testament to the contents popularity. Plus the artists wouldn't take the time to make the molds if there wasn't a market that would buy. If it's cool to be nerdy then the thing is no longer nerdy I guess is what I'm getting at. I mean full grown men wear other men's Jersey from major teams and buy their clothing. But those players are popular so it's therefore cool to wear that. If common principle had gone the other direction those men might have been considered in love with other men and shuned by society especially if sports weren't popular enough for others to understand the attraction To representing a player on a sports team.

It can easily be set as 2...but pose 2 is the winner for me.....just getting into it but the platform always sets them off for me...love this one...bricks and asphalt imbeded with structure beams and underground piping...its amazing...
That's an impressive piece for sure. The one thing that would drive me crazy are the watch batteries. 1. they are expensive to replace and 2. replacing all of those will take a while. Too bad they didn't find a way to have it DC powered.
