- How to select the voltage, calculate the required power (capacity) and precautions for safe use of the transformer.
Although the adapter may also be referred to as a transformer, the adapter and the transformer are two completely different things. The English of the transformer is Transformer, while the English of the adapter is Adapter. The two are also different in structure, the transformer is a single component and the adapter is composed of electronic circuits.
The input voltage of the transformer is determined according to the country or region where it is used, while the output voltage is determined by the operating voltage of the electrical appliances.
The unit of capacity of a transformer is power, and there are two types of power: watt and VA. When calculating the required power, multiply the power consumption of the electrical product by 1.4 (safety factor) to determine the transformer that needs to be purchased.

請問變壓器成長時間插著嗎？如吸塵器保持插著充電？還有瓦數如果選越大相較使用會比較安全？
1.變壓器可以長時間插在電源上，至於吸塵器如果充飽電了，最好還是自變壓器上拔掉插頭不要再繼續充電。
2.變壓器的瓦特數不是越大越安全，太大只是浪費錢和占空間而已。要安全的使用如影片所說的a)只用到變壓器8成以內的容量就好。b)變壓器要放在通風處，注意不要有發熱或發燙的情況。

變壓器頻率標示50/60Hz是對的，就是要兩種頻率都能用。
需要注意的是功率，變壓器最好選擇比咖啡機的(最大功率W)/0.7。
豁客，很高興看到您的影片，我想請問一個問題，我從網路上買了一個220V DC29.2V 10A的充電器，在網路上看到「舜紅 1000W變壓器 110升220 110V轉220V 升壓器 大陸電器台灣用」，但我使用時，變壓器卻燙的不得了，我的瓦特數是29.2V x 10A = 292W，應該不會那麼燙啊！
從你的充電器瓦特(W)數292W來換算市面上一般的變壓器功率(W)建議購買1400VA(W)以上的變壓器。原因說明如下，
1.充電器的功率是直流功率需要先轉換成交流功率，因為你說變壓器燙的不得了，所以假設你的充電器的效率是0.6，則充電器的實際交流功率為292/0.6=486.7W。
2.有些變壓器的轉換率大約是50%(也就是說標示1000W但建議用使用在500W)，這一點在一些網站上會標示出來(要仔細看)。所以這樣看來你的變壓器被使用在接近滿載的情況(486.7/500=97.3%)，這時候變壓器通常就會很熱了。
3.轉換成市售變壓器規格標示方式(1000W只能用到500W，所以要乘上2)，並建議用到最大容量的7成(70%)。所以，(486.7*2)/0.7=1390.5W。
