gotta be completely honest, would have never guess mothers be aware would have gone as far as it did and man oh man am i happy it did. that music video is one of my favorite moments in all of funhaus, hope they do that actual music video that one dude said they could do.
LudaChez I'm sure they'll make the music video for the Funhaus remix. Queen of Drama will probably never happen now. It will be one of those jokes where 10 years from now they'll still be saying, "we'll play Queen of Drama next week."
Gotta agree with you on The Woods, enjoyed it as a TH-cam video, but it fell really short in terms of story and character build-up as a short film. Visuals are amazing though: I love the color and the shots.
This was a great Halloween treat. And as for the rant at the end I sadly have to agree with what you're saying. I am a big fan of sp7 too and I will fan boy over anything they make, but the short film was not great. They did admit that it was a rushed shooting schedule and that it wouldn't be perfect since it's their first major production - that was far from perfect. And yea there's shortcuts that they could've taken to make this film better and easier to shoot but it's out now and they can't just change it, only (hopefully) learn from it. Still super bummed that they could've done more with this if they just had more time to build on characters, suspense, story and core themes. Nevertheless I've already seen it thrice and it is entertaining I guess
The thing that stood out from The Woods was the cinematography. It was beautifully edited and shot. I do agree that there was no sense of closeness to the characters, but there were some scenes that were very well performed. It just needed a better script. They should have used darkness as a tool to make the monster have more of an affect, but that's my preference. Perhaps they used the monster as they did intentionally as part of their vision for the short film. Ending was a surprise for sure. Good watch
I agree with you about the sugar pine 7 short film. There was nothing that made it any better than a cut and dry story about a monster. I think they knew that going in though. They said in a podcast that they want to transition into maybe doing more stuff like that and that The Woods was just their foot in the door. It wasn't good, but it wasn't awful to me. And like they said in that same podcast, just having made a short film (no matter how bad it is) puts them on the map to try new projects that they want to do in the film industry.
About 19 mins in during the Loving Me? spoken word album bit...background has a lost prophets album tucked in there...I remember cringing a little when the original video came out. I do feel sorry for the other members of the band...
I personally felt them showing the monster was monumental, because they did what most don’t, which is show it during the day and that adds a true never ending terror because it’s no more just fear of the dark, now it’s truly ominous and this thing is set on one goal, to kill you. I’m not saying it was a good short, by any means. In fact it was something I just watched while taking a bath because I was bored. I don’t think it should be considered on the spectrum of bad, because that ropes it in with a whole shit show of movies, but also it shouldn’t be considered good. Yes, they did have short production date, and none of them had seriously worked in film before, except for James, which I only half believe because he’s somewhere in between nerdy kid who gets bullied and a fuccboi who probably makes shit up to impress you. I, too, feel like the character relations were forced, but in 20 minutes, it’s either force the relation, or completely ignore the big elephant and we just assume no one knows anyone. In closing, I don’t think it was bad, but I don’t think it was good.
After almost five years Mothers Be Aware hits different.
I was literally just thinking that. I appreciate it more.
real shit
yea all the gay jokes from adam are just super awkward now
That beautiful intro. I still think the whole Mothers Be aware bit, getting the composer and the ceo of sproing is the best thing Funhaus has done.
Steven Hudson I absolutely agree with you
Honestly, never thought they could top Talking Stalkings.
Is it weird that I get emotional watching that part??
Wiz Wild depending on how erratic your emotions are, maybe
They’ve come along way from prank calling that cruise lady to getting a composer and CEO on the show.
My favourite line this year, especially with the voice filter, is "The Gamesmaster is a functioning alcoholic".

gotta be completely honest, would have never guess mothers be aware would have gone as far as it did and man oh man am i happy it did. that music video is one of my favorite moments in all of funhaus, hope they do that actual music video that one dude said they could do.
Rocko Steel I feel like they are going to make a real music video too....not just this montage......also....what happened to Queen of Drama?
LudaChez I'm sure they'll make the music video for the Funhaus remix. Queen of Drama will probably never happen now. It will be one of those jokes where 10 years from now they'll still be saying, "we'll play Queen of Drama next week."
I really miss Joel and Spool but I have to say; Elyse was just meant to be in Funhaus...
Markus Sangalang I really don’t think anyone gives a fuck

Mother's Be Aware will go down in history as one of the best story arcs of all time.
I think Elyse wins line of the year; "I've found the best way to get a free vay-cay is to be human trafficked."
Its 3 years later and im just now laughing about how funny the lyrics to mother be aware are
The Mothers Be Aware Saga will forever be in our hearts and minds

Watching for the joyful nostalgia of simpler times ❤️
Lawrence dancing to mothers be aware is still one of my favourite TH-cam moments of all time.

The devils own moment/edit is probably one of my favourite funhaus moments ever, I dont know why
How can you say R.I.P. Mothers Be Aware? It lives on in our hearts forever!
Gotta agree with you on The Woods, enjoyed it as a TH-cam video, but it fell really short in terms of story and character build-up as a short film. Visuals are amazing though: I love the color and the shots.
Shihaab Punia Felt that the cow chop Halloween special was better in all aspects

Rare footage of sharky my childhood. The mascot of the hotel I used to stay at in Turkey.
That intro.. best movie good feeling ever, Love you funhaus!!!!!!
Hey CPP! Question: does FH still use your compilations as a base to make their BEST OFs?
"Oh and by the way i cant make it to the abortion tomorrow." - James
They should hire you to do the Offical monthly compilation. You always do it on time

Can’t believe mothers be aware was 2017....feels like yesterday.... 😌
starting off with a banger. mothers be aware. classic
If there's no version of this song with Bruce, etc. Singing it before 2018, I'm going to be very cross.
Why is no one addressing that Rachel is drinking the holy water??? You're not supposed to drink it wtf
I forgot funhaus had to pretend to enjoy law breakers before it came out
Great work love watching these every month
Goddamit, you’re right about the woods. I thought it was good but it was off. Then you put it in words I didn’t realize I felt. Goddam you.
