Lightning is a very big deal, and you'd be an idiot not to be afraid of it. The chances of a single person being struck by it may be really low, but the higher up you are, the better the chance, and the more metal on whatever your near, or if your in a house, the chances raise significantly.
Huh? How did you draw that conclusion? Not only is central FL (where this video was filmed) the lightning capital of North America, check out the rainfall between June and September. It is also not unusual for our thunderstorms to produce tropical storm force winds. I live just east of Tampa and two weeks ago we received 4.5 inches of rain in an hour and a half. Almost 2 inches the next afternoon and close to an inch the afternoon after that. I know, I know, you have tornados, but we get Hurricanes.

Those are very typically shaped cumulonimbus clouds actually.
if you look on your left side that cloud at 0:02 it's looks like a koala bear
or next to the shape of a koala bear cloud it looks like tuff lips from sanjay and creig

I live in California and we get these same size clouds during the rainy season but no lightning. Never could figure why that is.
,it has to be around 7:09 to see the heat ,any kind of Lightning so if you have not tried to do that idea??
