During your interview you're made to fill a form for your location preferences. The authority tries their best to place you in one of your desired choices.
If you wish to change your location after joining, you can apply for transfer mentioning reason for the same.

will seats reduce for upsc cms in future as i talked to one of the cghs doctor he told me that earlier only about 80 people used to join the sevices pan india but now 120 people joined in delhi alone last year and backlog vaccancies will be filled within 1-2 years and after that hardly 100 to 150 vaccancies will be released every year or even less , what do you think about this and what should one do to get seat in future currently im in 2 year.

I strongly believe competition would increase more in the coming years.
Even now there is shortage of doctors appointed through CMS in CGHS cadre, CGHS is expanding alot and many new wellness centres have opened up recently as well, creating more vacancies for doctors.
But the number of candidates preparing for this exam is increasing that would surely increase the competition.
@@drsimplified99 so what kind of preparation a 2 yr mbbs student should start in order to get selected and beat the competition and how to prepare because these days people prepare max to max 4_6 months for upsc cms that too not exclusively for cms but my main goal is cms so can you suggest something for people like me
Good question buddy.
UPSC CMS emphasizes the basics, core of the subjects.
So read standard textbooks and be thorough with the concepts.
As the exam would approach closer to you start from the pyqs, finish them off completely then only shift to mocks and practice papers.
Sir.. i have filled the form and my internship will end next year in july.. if it ends after 6 months of results will i be eligible..plz reply.. are there any relaxations in this rule?
If at the time of final result you would still be in your internship, you can request them for extension which they would accept. UPSC wants more doctors and won't lose deserving candidates over solvable issues.

I didn't use any book for cms. I used MO Prep app. I've seen few people suggesting prasad book as a reliable source.
