I don't speak French that well but I could read that, and I totally agree,. He's sometimes frustrating but when he works his magic there is no one that comes even close. also go Racing!!! (and sad to see him leave for Bath)
Difference between say a Carter, a Spencer or a Wilkinson and Russell is that error count. You wouldn't qualify remarks about those three by saying the brilliance does come with errors at times. But you have to live with the odd poor pass, the wayward kicks, the missing in action moments, to get the brilliance he does produce.
@@rodneylowe9526 actually I would as Wilkinson wasn’t actually that good a 10 just a great drop goal specialist who fitted perfect into the aggressive model that England played at that time …but perhaps I just look for different qualities in a 10 than u do …. Russell is creatively brilliant and doesn’t make that many mistakes these days …unfortunately plays a position that means they will get punished
@Paul Odonnell I agree Wilko was a phenomenal kicker, off the tee, out of hand and off both feet. However, he tackled like a 7, when most 10s tackle like 7 years old, and did read a game superbly. Carter was a better 10 in my eyes, more of a creative player, and looked to play in slow motion all the time. Russell is today like Phil Bennett was, but does have too many "moments" and goes AWOL at times, eradicating that, and he could be compared alongside him. Next season at Bath, without a monster pack in front of him will be the test, a bad season going backwards could ruin him, or increase my view of him if he turns in stellar performances with no space and on the back foot.
Russell is a genius player😮
As an England fan, my favourite 10 right now by far
Un joueur sublime. Nous, francais, avons eu bien du plaisir a le voir jouer avec le racing.

The best player I'll ever see in a Scotland jersey, without doubt...
I am South African and Finn Russell is my favourite player for Scotland.
Marcus Smith can only dream of this standard
Best 10 in the world!
Such a treat ! thanks for the vid !
Only player I would take in SA line up who isn’t from SA-Finn Russel
Would take Dupont over De Klerk, Aldritt or Doris over Wiese/Vermuelen/Smith, Ardie Savea in there, Keenan over Le Roux...
You wouldn't take Dupont?? I know SA are strong right now but he is the best 9 in the world by some distance
5:31 pass 😮
agreed that is the best one !
❤
This would be a great video without the irritating, repetitive music that drowns out the commentary!
But you could also do a 15 minute video of him making a mess of things. Which is why he is box office, but not a great.
Terrible comment
Exactly right.
