    Seeing them together, I can see that is not logical or viable, she is has too much fire in her, and he is as calm as they come... both super intelligent and informed. I mean, what could he do or would do with a woman like her?? See what I mean!! Exactly!

    I have a better question than how to protect wealth, what career do I choose. If tech jobs all go to india, what are we supposed to do, get a union job in healthcare, education or construction maybe? Or maybe an entrepreneur of some sort?

    You or someone on your staff should read "Money And Bitcoin: Everything You Were Never Taught In School". It's on Amazon. To truly understand everything that was just said, this book explains it ALL in simple language a ten year old can understand. The knowledge will change the way you think about money forever. You will pass the info in this book on to your children to teach their children.
    Inflation, deflation, how to fix our monetary system, how to protect yourself from what is coming, how we got into this mess, who put us here, how to get out, and much more is packed into about 100 pages. It's a short read you'll go over many times.

    Hang on I’m confused, on one hand you guys say that deflation’ is coming and on the other Daniele is saying that in inflation the divide will put distance between the rich and the poor…can someone put the steps in order of merit, which comes first deflation or inflation…how can we have inflated real estate when Jeff says technology is fighting against inflation?…and I’m surprised becoz Jeff says she is correct without explaining why?

    • @FarfettilLejl
      @FarfettilLejl 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's central banks that are creating inflation in real estate because the system requires it. They're creating that inflation DESPITE the deflationary nature of the world. You missed the most important message of the video

      Are you not familiar with moores law? This is the deflationary quality of information technology he is referring to, but every advance in technology is deflationary logically because it makes outcomes cheaper.

      He is a construction guy. It looks like doesn't know much about technology but sits on boards of tech companies, so he brings his business acumen and street smarts to the table. And in return he gets lots of info from real techies.

    So...interest rates having been in decline since just after the Dot-com bubble, and really flat-lining since the 2007 Housing Crisis. Yet the dollar has been increasing in value, versus the basket of world currencies, and we have a massive deficit, and debt ($27 trillion). Interest rates have barely budged, even after COVID bonuses. The future holds massive deflation, not inflation. The judgement by these two analysts is deeply flawed. Listen to Cathy Wood's (Ark investing) explanation of this.

    • @FarfettilLejl
      @FarfettilLejl 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's funny because all three are talking about the same thing. Deflation is coming but central banks will continue fighting it, destroying us all in the process. Do people even understand what the video is about? It's not about deflation vs inflation. It's about our whole monetary system being incompatible with reality!

    Just by artificially stopping the number of Bitcoin to 22 million or whatever, Jeff counteracts his own argument on abundance. The Bitcoins or any other cryptos can be generated in abundance and hence they should be free.

    I still don't understand what "technology is deflationary" really means. Technology to me seems exponentially inflationary... i.e. its eating everything. Can someone help me understand?

      Think of Technology like the farm tractor when we hand-harvested it was a slow process the technology with the tractor allowed us to process more food much quicker reducing the cost of goods

      Technology makes things cheaper and more abundant. In other words, it makes your currency more powerful in terms of purchasing power (deflationary). So you don't actually need more money to buy more stuff. Because stuffs are getting cheaper through technology.
      Another way to look at it, from supply and demand perspective, is that since tech produces everything more at cheaper price, there's actually more supply of goods and services in the market, compared to money that actually circulates in real economy (main street. Not wall street).
      Now this same deflationary forces (tech), also destroying 'old' jobs at the same time. And because of that, people are asking the government for aid. And in response, central banks and government attempt to counter those deflationary forces, by artificially generating inflationary forces through money printing. And that's where the mistake begun..
      So the reason there's no inflation in terms of consumer price yet, is because the real economy can not recover yet due to pandemic. So all those printed money at the moment and to near future, will just end up inflating asset prices. And this will resulting in asset prices bubble, that will burst when real economy really recovering. The moment it starts recovering, all those money that's been staying in asset prices all this time, will go flood the real economy and hyperinflate consumer prices.

    • @mrenovatio3739
      @mrenovatio3739 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      tech makes things (goods, services) cheaper at an increasing rate... the tech itself grows in adoption and in reach, but it makes other things much cheaper & faster to produce per unit of labour... it is an exponential process this is just the beginning...
