Because, it doesnt matter what theyre doing, its knowing that you were there! and you get the honor to see them live!!! Its still amazing music. And raves are a great place to meet chicks lol
this gig made me laugh so much!!!!! XD They went from something hard like "we are your friends" to something soft like "why can't we be friends"! Nd then gaspard headbanging to it made it the more funnier!
well they do more that turning the volume on and off Xavier syncs the sounds from his headphones to the music that is played and uses a lot of loops and tempo changes and uses some effects while gaspard entertains and energizes the crowd
these are mixing the music on the spot alot of the time. the skill is still there. i understand that playing instruments live can be challenging but don't put these guys down. anyway, the musics great and they bring something different in their live performances, it isnt just them sticking on a cd or anything!
I was there that night, and I have my ticket to see them again at Terminal 5 in nyc. I would much rather see them at Webster Hall again, but w/e, its still Justice.
I actually have a few different tracks in my collection with that sample in it. Unfortunately I can't find the one that I have actually mixed with in the past. It was a track I bought from beatport probably close to 2 years ago.
I believe the countdowns are a sample from Jane Fonda in her workout days....Thomas Bangalter or Bob Sinclair, can't remember who lifted it, but its from like 10 years ago (when Bob Sinclair was still remotely underground)
I wouldn't say a band is mainstream just because they're becoming famous. When I think of mainstream I think of artists / bands that massproduces their music. Often not even writing / making it. Releases single after single. And every freaking song of them is being played every halfhour on the radio. Justice doesn't fill a single of those criterias. But maybe my image of mainstream is wrong.
which song starts at the beginning with 1, 2, 3,4, 5 6, 7, 8, and one?? then after we are your friends, what comes after that with the weird sounds then why can't we be friends?? Just basically, what are all of the songs or sounds tapes used in this??
@wasteconnectionsdude sorry but i might not have listened to Justice as much as Daft Punk, but yet i think both are epic. It's like comparing a guitarist to another guitarist. You can't really say one is better than the other, just one having a different style that one person may like more than the other :)
I wish this was a mix I could download or stream in better quality but this gives me chills.
I am in the front row... and I loved this concert... the disco ball was amazing
that cigarette he lights was mine. i was tossing them like they were roses for an encore

Gotta love the Jane Fonda "2 3 4 5 6 7 8 & back" loop, ha
It’s bob sinclar’s gym tonic
@@MrCountPunk technically Thomas Bangalter's gym tonic
2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and Back!!!!!!! Viva la Ed Banger!!
Why can't we be friends?
We Are Your Friends!
Can't get enough of this a decade later
Just casually having a cig while spinning... what a man.
I had chills too stylish the French brothers in arms !!
they dont just press play, they remix the song live, hence why it sounds different from the original.
Original better
Xavier is a DJ,Gaspard is a Producer!
Such a great night!!!!!
2:23 looks like even Xavier and Gaspard didn't exactly know when the beat will drop :D

Most electronic producers do live mixes. They take two or more of their songs and mix them together.

@yiazmat35 Together only made 2 songs throughout the time they were together. So Much Love To Give & Together only.
