Thank you, this video was so much more simple than some others I watched. I will be doing this.

Good video. Is there any reason why you wouldn’t use a thermostat good for 240 volts not needing a low voltage power source? Not sure how that would affect the thermostat on the heater. I have a thermostat good for 240 volt, 22 amp single pole that I was thinking of using to replace the thermostat on the heater. Wasnt sure if I would even need to disconnect the thermostat on the heater, just keep it turned up high?

Thank you for the great video, I have a 6000w heater on a 35A breaker, do you have a 40A relay to recommend? The closest I could find is 199AX-8 by Schneider on Mouser. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the comment. The relay you found looks like it will work but its quite expensive. I took a look on Digikey, here is another option that is only about $6: J115F31CL24VACS

Well thank you very much, that option is preferred and perfectly aligned with your arrangement. It took me a while to understand that a single pole relay was required.

You never did show the nest thermostat.

I showed connecting it to a generic smart thermostat. Doesn't matter what brand you have, it's the exact same. The important thing is that you have the blue / C wire like I show in the video.
