Pretty Sure that Price didn't have the Handles Steph has, wasn't Scoring 30 this often and wasn't Expected to do so regularly to carry his own team. Pretty sure he didn't have the gravity Steph has and therefore Wasn't as much double teamed As Curry is. But, I know that comparing players, even from the same Era is Almost Impossible.

Steph being the best shooter in league history has teams in a frenzy throwing double teams at him 35 ft from the basket. Curry has to put up far more difficult shots than Drazen who didn’t require a double team ever. Good luck trying to convince people a top 1000 all time player was better than a top 10 all time. Thomas unguardable statements just proved that the new era Superstars would light the players of Thomas era up on the court. They wouldn't be able to guard this new eras top 20 players cus this eras stars can Shoot the 3 well, they can dribble and they all can finish at the rim in one way shape or form
PGs from Price's era didn't have the same green light that modern players do. They were expected to set up the offense and weren't encouraged to shoot as many 3s or iso for buckets, even if they physically could. We honestly don't know who from that era would've been able to keep pace with modern expectations because they weren't allowed to go as hard.

Price is Currys uncle duh
when it comes to sharp shooter's, nothing come close to late great drazen petrovic.. i dont know why every shot he make is always dangerous. and he make the most of it
Nothing comes close to Drazen? Steph Curry by far better than Drazen, you can't even compare them. Drazen was a fantastic shooter. Curry the best in the history of this earth. Ask 100 GM's who they'd take first in a draft and they'd laugh.
Didn't dell curry play with price.. And Steve Kerr was his back up
What if Steph Curry play on that era?
he wouldn't be the Steph as we know him
Pretty Sure that Price didn't have the Handles Steph has, wasn't Scoring 30 this often and wasn't Expected to do so regularly to carry his own team. Pretty sure he didn't have the gravity Steph has and therefore Wasn't as much double teamed As Curry is.
But, I know that comparing players, even from the same Era is Almost Impossible.
@@elliotloy7546 I don't give A Damn about him Lmao !
Cmon Isaiah you know exactly that Steph Curry plays exactly like Mahmoud Abdul Rauf not like Mark Price
I like the guy but he's no Curry or Price
Price was a point guard that ran a offense, something Curry nor Chris Jackson did.
drazen was better than both catch and shoot period and gave jordan some kinda PROB
Steph, Price and Isiah could dribble. Drazen catch n shoot. Ok 1 or 2 bounces.
Drazen wasn't better than Curry at any aspect of the game. It's laughable. Nice try though.
@@Johnny-xj5qu you don't know anything about basketball and it shows
@@Johnny-xj5qu he was better at rebounding passing and steals and less turnovers so explain how he isn't better??? curry is a better 3 point shooter drazen played harder opponents and tougher defense
@@ninobrown90 this is easy. I know the game inside and out, you don’t. Look at this:
Steph 24.3 ppp, Drazen 15
Steph 4 reb per game Drazen 2.3
Steph 6.5 assists per game, Drazen 2.4
Drazen was a great 3 pt shooter when he was open. Please learn the game
Mahmoud abdul rauf is better comparison for stephn curry
Definitely not Curry🤷🏿♂️
@@darkmatter7668 game was still, kinda, played inside/out in Price's era. Not so in Steph's.
Zeke
But curry has 2 mvps first unanimous mvp 3 rings 7 time Allstars 7 time all nba over 2900 threes made most games with 9 threes with 37 games warriors all time points leader
Yeah it's a bad comparison because Steph is on a completely different level, but Price was a very good marksmen, it's just Curry hits shots regularly those players weren't capable of even taking.
