    • @marka.2715
      @marka.2715 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes we are but we don't get much respect. Most of the motoring public hates us. Some of the lack of respect has been brought on buy truck drivers themselves. Leaving trash everywhere, bad driving, no driver etiquette. I could go on. Trucking used to be a job you could take pride in. Not anymore. It's embarrassing out here with all the new drivers. It's become a real 💩 show.

    On your truck. You can build up “Air Pressure” by setting the “Idle Adjust” Will be on your dashboard 3rd Tab Top and 4 section down. That will be the fastest or always set your “Optimized Idle” when exiting your truck. Other thing is leave “Trailer Air Supply” pushed in(Red)

So this you won't have any problems delivery time. That's what I do on my 10 hour break. So I won't be looking where to enter from or call the business of the cross road address and etc. 😅

    You are very correct to walk into unknown areas *before* pulling in somewhere. Too many truckers these days just pull right in and as I'm sure you know get stuck. Many of them 'force' their way around and knock a tree out or do damage to automobiles. Keep up the great work, Alex! And by the way, the skirt on the trailer you are talking about isn't the color 'teal'. Teal has more green in it. The color you are talking about is called turquoise, also the color of your tractor.

    I'm no truck driver. You second guess your abilities. My advice to you is to watch and take mental notes on how veteran drivers do things. The things taught in school don't always teach real-life experiences. Be observant and listen. Also, use your cb radio if lost .Otr drivers work way better than Garmin.

    Hey bro I watch ur videos all the time as of recently I'm 23 and I'm soon starting school for my CDL I talk to truck drivers all the time and I seen in one of ur videos your guna save all ur money so you can retire by 30 mabey but why don't you buy your own truck start your own business drive for your self buy a 25 thousand dollar truck and pay another 20 to 30 thousand to put a new motor and transmission in it these guys at my job make 6 to 7 thousands a week are home every day and after taxes and fuel and insurance still take home about 4 to 5 thousand one was even telling me he gets money back at the end of the year instead of paying taxes I even have a nabor that's making millions and has never drove a semi in his life but bought a semi and started his business and it was hard he took some big losses and hits but last year he made 13.5 million for him self and still has never driven a semi truck and the trucker I was talking to today showed me his check his gas bill his insurance he still made 4500 for that week and he bought a 20 thousand dollar truck and got a new transmission and engine from Freightliner for another 20 thousand with a 750 thousand mile insurance and instead of saving why not invest in real estate and just get a property manager until it's payed off and you could always refinance the property tax free and use the money you put in or the money people payed ur property off with start making cash flow money also invest in a Roth account just a suggestion I like to give advice mabey help people or inspire or give suggestions and u seem like a hell of a driver bro and I believe in you and think you could get so much more done hope I don't offend you or anything or come off the wrong way but I want the best for everyone and you inspired me I really want to become an owner operator imagine if a company can pay you 1650 a week how much you can pay urself and pick ur loads and imagine how much you can save in taxes constantly buying trucks writing them off and having your own drivers I'm scared and nervous to drive but I hope I do well and I wish the best for you and if you decide to start a business or anything hope I see your processes on TH-cam keep it up brother stay safe and thanks for the vids bro keep um coming
