- Pixar's Luca dropped onto Disney Plus last week, so here's our reaction to the movie!
The movie is about two best friends, Luca and Alberto, so we thought this was the perfect film for us to react to seeing as we are best friends ourselves!

Loved Luca, was another amazing Pixar film. Just a shame it didn't get a cinema release, but Luca was amazing. SILENZIO BRUNO!!!
It did get a cinema release in most of Europe and Asia though.

@@Scoutadelic Only in the countries where Disney+ is not available. The UK ain't one of them. I'm from the Balkans. The movie was both dubbed and subbed and the time cards were replaced by a clock.

Pretty sure the towns quick turn around was mostly thanks to Massimo standing up for the boys, you can see how they all stood their ground with their nets and harpoons until Massimo shoots them a look XD Having the biggest, strongest dad in town on your side definitely helps a lot
It also helped that the two old ladies revealed themselves, since you know how close friends most old people in such a small town are so that alone must've changed the opinion of every other senior in Portorosso
Also my favorite was Alberto, such a wonderful lonely chaos child teen :D

I mean... I can't, for the life of me, pick my favourite character. Luca is too adorable for words. Alberto is like my own best friend when I was growing up, showing me the world in the same way he does for Luca. And, who doesn't love sassy ginger female who swears using cheeses? I've watched this, so far, about five times... maybe a couple more... and just love the story. Yours is the second reaction video and, even though you can't show the entire film, I still get weepy. LOL Great reaction, guys!

This honestly was one of the best Pixar movies
It’s so different from their other movies!

It was so heartbreaking when Luca betrayed Alberto but also.... I kinda get it? Alberto really put him in a spot and forced a situation, a potentially dangerous one at that. Not that I'm hating on Alberto, his mindset is very "Us against the World so who cares", but I get why Luca panicked and reacted the way he did. You can see he's real shocked at himself though
Yes, people act in surprising ways when backed into a corner! It’s understandable and upsetting at the same time… 😔
I know why it turned so quickly because the rest of the people were all scared of Julia’s dad that’s probably why they stopped
He definitely had a big influence over them!!
It would’ve been a lot more impactful if the harpoons actually hit Alberto, but hey it’s Disney

I love the movie, the only problem that i see is that the time restringed the movie, I want more of the movie y dont like that there is only 135 minutes, this movie has potencial for more.

by far one of my favourite new films! I can't believe how much it made me think of little mermaid yet i love how the story was quite different! and i cant agree with u more! luca is so harry and julia is like hermione but i really agree about alberto being like ron in 1st book/film he didnt get on with hermione yet harry kinda did and it was kind of what i sensed here!
the intro music for the castle was really catchy!
im not gonna lie i actually didnt notice that julia's dad had one arm until he pointed it out much later in the film to luca and alberto! 🤣🤦♂️

the bits when luca's parent were looking for him was quite funny!
when the other racer called luca and alberto monsters i kind of thought about when the duke called elsa a monster because of her powers!
when i watched it for the first time i was so surprised when the two ladies removed their umbrellas and revealed to be sea monsters! 😲
the ending almost made me cry! it was so emotional yet the perfect ending! anytime i watch that end part i always feel the same as its so emotional!
my favourite scene might have been the ending as it was such a fitting end and i also liked the race scene!

Luca is voiced by Jacob Tremblay and his mother and father are voiced by Maya Rudolph and Jim Gaffigan about a sea monster boy who appears human when he comes out of the water into the village citizens

@@EdizAndBen yes I did. There was no supervillain in this one. Just some punk bully who specialized in bossing people around. But it was nice. A proper step for Pixar. Not my favorite but enjoyable

I loved Luca so much- but the whole race confuses me- what is this race that’s a triathlon with swimming cycling and EATING?? And also it’s only for kids?? And also it’s a dangerous downhill??? And also the kids need to pay an entry fee which seems to be quite a bit because Guilia’s dad was hesitant to pay it??? And then they get enough prize money to pay for a year at a private school? Still it’s adorable
