Hi ALA - yes, it is believed that this bike is of Swedish origin. The gear shifter is on the left right because of practical matters - the owner simply felt more comfortable with this setting. However, it is no big deal to switch it back again.

Nice original scout with Bosch DVAR mag. Is the bike Swedish origin? Why is gear shifter on the left? Maybe right hand throttle.

Really nice 101 but the grips are 1939/1940 and the front brake lever looks to be 1946.
