Ma Gui Baguazhang - Functional Application in the Fourth Dragon Palm

Working of the fourth Dragon Change of the Ma Gui Dragon Palms. The application of the lioazhang is a rising drilling and then a sweeping wrapping movement combined with deep coiling of the core of the body before you open up into an expanded arm.
The deep fascia conditioning involved in this movement is a hallmark of Bagua. The open and close of the body with deep spirals builds a wholistic awareness of the body that allows the nervous system to expand and grow in ways few other physical disciplines can accomplish.
As a basic demonstration I am using a defense against a punch to illustrate the functional elements of structural integrity used.

I don’t know any ma GUI only jiang but I should be able to cross apply right?

Yes absolutely! Applying structure in Baguazhang I have found is very easy to cross reference and cross apply with enough practice.
