thank you!! most of the results i find online included the dried fruits and chocolates but i wanted to bring something more than just snacks. so the teas, and household items are great suggestions.
Love your video. You have done all the work to find the locally available and unique buys. Will be visiting many on this list in a few weeks. The linen tablecloth is gorgeous…but out of my budget!!!
Thank you for your comment and I'm glad you found the video useful. There are many different designs and price at the linen shop - you should go take a look anyway! Enjoy your time in Vietnam!
Just saw your video and have a few questions. We will be going on a river cruse with a few stops in Vietnam and want to shop for some small items to bring back to the Untied States. Do most of the stores take credit cards or will we need cash (US or Dong)? In the large markets do you pay "sticker price" or do you need to haggle for the Non-Tourist price? Do you know if tea can be brought back into the US (many agricultural products aren't allowed)? If you could answer any of these questions I'd be grateful.
Packaged goods can be brought into the US - like tea, coffee, cashew nuts. If you go to a market most consumables have price listed. Those without you’ll need to bargain. Hope this helps!
@@TravelEatSaigon we went to Art Book in 2018 and we are now in Saigon but have been looking for it all day and couldn’t find it! I remember it being in one long street where all the souvenir shops that you featured in this video are. Do you have any tips how to find this? Which street is this in and is it near Saigon Centre or Saigon Square?
