Pat Casey is one of my favourite riders of all time but they need to stop calling his 7’s with his head tucked in a cash roll because it’s just not. Also, if you’re gonna call it a cash roll then you need to call the twister that Godzy did a 1080 front flip. Just saying. All these guys are beast nonetheless
The first run, Boyd's one-handed superman seatgrab -- never saw that before in 30 years --, and his QUADRUPLE truckdriver (not triple as announced) was so sick! He got a 78 for it? Yikes. It was soo CLEAN and artistic. Incredible to behold. You see Reily doing a double truck and CASING bad, having to pedal b/n jumps, he gets an 88..... Wtf. Seriously. Squirrel af. Ugh I don't really like where the sport is going. These weird bikeflips and things. These things get the highest ratings. I guess it's progressive; I just don't think it's that cool. I'd rather see a quad-truck done CLEAN any day. Style matters. You should be judging strongly on style and cleanliness. Bc it's beautiful, not just "that was insane". That's part of it. But this is an incredibly beautiful sport; --artform. Started riding in the early-mid 90's. I've seen much!
Somewhat agree should be judged more on all round riding ability not just how much you ride an airbag. Rwilly is a beast but he’s getting overrated lately, man can only do big flip tricks but if you asked him to do some tech on a quarter it would be rather unimpressive. He can’t even flat whip.
