Pretty abundant here in Arizona as well.
Ive found that the leaves, blossoms and pods are rather useful when subjected to anaerobic digestion for 6 months (I basically used a small cistern with no aeration)
after which the resulting fluid makes for a nutrient rich organic fertilizer while rendering the seeds infertile and suitable for composting or mulching without worry over new trees appearing everywhere.
It's only been this summer I've tried this and plan to harvest as many blossoms as possible thereby greatly reducing pod production and leaving me with abundant nutrients for other crops.
(Have a look at nutrient profile of pod flour if you want a rough idea of its potential benefits)
Also hoping perhaps the coming allergy season won't be quite so bad with keeping blooms in check

    Hello from México 🇲🇽:
You should harvest Honey Bees from the prosopise flower, it’s very well paid in Europe because it’s unique flavor

One scientist copies misinformation from the other:
Prosopis is not having a deep tap root system. It has a horizontal, lateral root system that collects surface rainfall water with up to 50 m long lateral roots just 5-15 cm below the soil surface. Prosopis depends on rainfall, not on deep ground water.
