As the players who got this back then seeing maneater makes our dreams come true but i think this game had way more better soundtracks also it's good that producers didn't stop at the game Depth divers vs sharks instead they made a free roam open world game
I did use to play jaws unleashed wished it get remastered but for the time being I’m happy to play maneater get a better buzz of maneater than playing hungry shark & maneater got put on Xbox game pass yesterday 🥂

The shark animations are surprisingly much less clunkier than man eater.. i love this hame and still have it on my pc.. seeing this right after maneater made me realise how good this game actually is

Maneater was nothing compared to this masterpiece. Someone needs to revive Appaloosa and let them make Jaws Unleashed 2. The cliffhanger still bothers me.
I remember putting countless of hours in this game on my PS2 11 years ago and it's so addicting and amazing. I bought the Maneater for my PS5 last night and it's just as good as Jaws: Unleashed!!! 🦈🌊

YES! I loved ripping people apart in this and collecting severed heads and spines in predator. I remember you could skin people and hang them in that game too. Underrated diamonds of games those two.

Jaws needs to be remastered for ps5 . That will draw lots of fans like me who played the game 18 years ago. The film will always be my favorite childhood movie. The shark didn’t even scare me.
Yea. I never got out to sea, but being a kid, didnt know about whale sharks. I forgot what they're called, the orange spots sharks that eat plankton, and got scared during the tutorial where we could turn back to try to head back out to sea and the big orange sharks blocked the way.
I specifically went to a flea market style garage sale at our local fair to buy this game and PS2. I wouldn't leave till I had them. Played the shit out of it just as I did when I was younger. Almost beat it.
Just by playing this you already scored a like from me. Liked the kind of eating system better in this one than in the maneater. At least you can feel like you're chewing. The Maneater immediately swallows every human. Well at least it seems that way from the demo. Btw, I liked the game. Didnt remember much how it went though. All I remember how I was stuck when facing the Orca in the aquarium. Took me so long to figure out you need to hit it with a screwdriver/corkscrew attack to stun it, then take bites out of it. Didnt remember how the rest went though.
If you wanna play but don't wanna master the abilities by doing various side missions and finding collectibles or just play certain levels again you have two options. When you create a save game profile write Blooood with 4 o's and you get million ability points which means right after you start the game you can upgrade yourself to latest level. There was also one with Shaaark but I'm not sure about how many A's you need to write. When you do you open the mission/chapter select menu when you start the game. However updrage points are less than million so if you choose future levels ahead of the game. You'll be defenceless lol. I remember launching angry armada with no upgrades :)
Although I loved this game so much as a kid and still trying to find it and I cannot find it anywhere but I do like how man eater is coming out plus this game inspired them to make man eater, jaws unleashed was pretty dam good for it's time and I've been wanting to play it again for 7 years now, but I have big hopes for man eater but a REMAKE for jaws unleashed would be awesome
Damn , this games is actually good i was play 5 years and never get bored even the man eater is not good like this , man eater only good at graphics and more textures but i dont like mutant shark and i dont like rpg game . I played the original Jaws on nes back in my day. I actually bought this game for the Xbox. I still have this game too, but unfortunately, I have no original Xbox tho.

It's free on myabandonware and works well on current systems. Runs at 30fps and you have to rebind the controls though. Still better than maneater.

Maneater has no rpg in it. Once you finish the quests there is nothing to do besides just swim around.
