    What if the printhead never returns to center so you can remove the old one?

      I understand that you are experiencing an issue with your printer as the carriage does not move to the center.
      I will do my best to assist you.
      The carriage only moves if the printer is in a printhead error state. If the carriage does not move to the centre of the printer when you open the printhead access door, the printheads do not need to be replaced. Replace printheads only when instructed to by error messages on the printer software, control panel, or HP Smart app.

    i have HP SMART TANK 589 SERIES PRINTER........i saw there are 2 different print head which is best for my printer please give me solution

      You can purchase new printheads from an HP Authorized Repair Center or Service Partner. Find service for your HP printer from the HP support web site. Go to bit.ly/3Biy5md Click Service center locations in the Support section near the bottom of the page. Follow the instructions on the page to find the nearest repair center or service partner.

    how about all led lights on but not blinking and no appear on sceeen. not printing..whats the problem? what can i do?

      I understand that you are experiencing an issue with your printer as all lights are blinking and not printing.
      I will do my best to assist you.
      If all control panel lights are blinking, follow these steps.
      Perform the following tasks in the order given. Use the printer after each task to see if the issue is resolved.
      Reset the printer
      Reset the printer to recover from printer errors or failures.
      Press the power button to turn off the printer. If the printer does not turn off, disconnect the power cord from the printer.
      Unplug the power cord from the power source.
      Wait 60 seconds.
      Connect the power cord directly to a wall outlet and to the printer.
      Turn on the printer to complete the reset.

    I have a problem with my HP Tank 520, the printing output got streaked or striped for the Cyan parts, I did a lot of Print Head Cleaning more than 20 times but it is still the same, I would like to try to pull out the Print Head but it never stops at the center, what to do?

      Click the Advanced tab in Printing Preferences.
      Expand the Document Options entry.
      Expand the Layout Options entry.
      In the Page Order: drop-down menu, select Back to Front.
      Click OK.

    Hy there.....i have a problem with my HP smart Tank 580-590 the quality on printig black and white or colored doesn.t matter it always shows white lines on printed pages,i did a lot of test paterns and printheads cleaning and nothing the same...iam not printing every day but once or twice per week.......i dont know what to do any more,any sugestions?
