I bought this with my own money and giving this trimmer an honest review.

Ive owned and always used the Echo HC- 152 to trim the bushes and hedges of my maintenance clients. But, it got stolen in the summer of 2019, so i bought this straight shaft trimmer. In my opinion, its light weight, the reach is phenomenal, and the power is great as well!
Only negative thing is, for the price, i wish it was an adjustable shaft!
other than that, a great tool for medium to semi extensive trimming.

@@mr.benitezhimself when i cut trees i do aroung 100$/ hour ,trimming big hedges takes time and i found it hard to estimate the required time to do the job.

But yes, Maintenance is time consuming. Especially first time clean ups. That’s why I’m not taking on those jobs as much. Strictly trees🤑

@@mr.benitezhimself oh ok, i use to own that model a long time ago. i will say that echo use to make some really good stuff back like 15 to 20 years ago. im 50/50 about what they have now

Hello Mr. Benitez... I have a question
I have the same SHC 225 ... and the problem is that when I let it warm up , I pull the throttle and then it dies... do you what can cause that? Thanks God bless.
Try giving it a little maintenance
Change the spark plug, filters, etc
I usually drop off my tools to my mechanic for maintenance whenever I feel like they aren’t running 100%
What type of allen wrench is needed for the bolts?
Star ? But I’d have to double check
