    Sincerely appreciate someone demoing SCS in the rhythmic-cinematic format - most demos are classical in nature, which is great but not what I'd be doing with SCS. Thanks!

    Just picked this up for $355 thanks to Spitfire's 2020 spring sale! Symphonic Strings + Symphonic Brass + Symphonic Woodwinds + Harp was just $898, and adding Chamber Strings by completing the SSO Chamber Edition bundle was only $355.

      @@TheSoundArchitect Definitely! I had originally planned on picking up BBCSO Pro and Albion One, along with one or maybe two of Spitfire's Evo style libraries, to get started with orchestral composing. But then they announced a limited-time bundle with SSS + SSB + SSW + Masse + Harp for just $898, which made me re-think everything. I ended up paying more than I had originally planned on, but it was an amazing value. Basically, I got the entire Symphony Complete bundle, Chamber Strings, and the Scoring Essentials bundle (Albion One + Solo Strings + Olafur Arnalds Chamber Evolutions) for just under $2,000.
      Now I'm just watching a bunch of videos on all that I've bought, which is how I found yours.

    Really good walkthrough. Your composition also is really well done. I’m gonna buy this chamber string library because I also think this is a must have one for writing strings to picture. The sound quality is amazing! I really love this small sized ensemble sound, its definitely very useful for many cases when a big orchestra is out of theme.
    Thank you for this review!

    Stumbled upon your channel while I was checking out Chamber Strings. Good comparison and piece. It'll be interesting to see how these hold up in situations now that they've released the string studio series

    Awesome video! How would you compare this library to the new Spitfire Studio Strings? Also, would you mind telling what software do you use to record the screen?

      xD you can use any thing xD if you're using windows 10 there is this tool called "game bar " you can record your screen and voice with it as well as if you're using nvidia geforce graphic card (GTX 1050 or above) you can use the driver wich is a really really powerful tool ... but for mac uhh ! i really don't know .. am not a big mac fan anyway

    I know this is already a year and a half old, but how do you load so many instances of the chamber strings at once? I use FL studio and I feel like if I load just 3 instances that my DAW starts dying.

      Hayden Craig you just need enough RAM

      @@barthaagmans2741 I have 32 gigs but it's still pretty rough to have more than, say, 5

      @@Aeolus_000 maybe you did it the wrong way, i only had 8 gig RAM and old Asus laptop. But it can handle a full 5 string section of Soaring string, which is taking up to like 1gb ram per instrument.
      I know spitfire chamber is a bigger library, but with 32 Gb RAM, you can run it without issue.

      Are you loading a separate Kontakt instance for each instance of the Strings?

    • @Gardener7
      @Gardener7 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      DAWs have different CPU efficiency. Try Studio One.
      Also, try doing a Kontakt multi.
      I can do about 15 instances of Kontakt in Studio One with 16GB RAM.
