Exactly, I’ve had clever foxes for a few years now, and they go back in the box and on my shelf for a journal like item when I switch over. I add the dates to the outside of the box. ❤
Bit harsh on that gorgeous packaging! Magnetic strip and all, it would be used for the planner in my house. Novel features - like the stickers - would be well worth trying out to see if they helped to find things. Trying new things is why people would buy these - and what a great gift! Great branding!
I really don’t need the budget and expense pages so I like the A5 better. I like a chunky planner but the paper quality is the most important feature for me.

I'm a linear bullet journal kinda person. Often I don't even use the monthly and future logs. Custom pages are almost always wasted on me.
Yeah, to each their own. Some people like the structure, while others are in between. I've never actually used a planner as structured as Clever Fox before, so I'm going to try it out and see if it works for me.

Is an old one. It's seen better days. I sent my brother in law some videos about how to tell if it's really, and he said it checked out. And it's a beautiful pen in all the little details.
How does it feel to write on it?
That's a great question! I haven't used them much yet, but the paper seems to be moderately smooth. It doesn't have a polished feel like Rhodia or Clairefontaine, but it's not toothy or scratching either. It might be somewhere in the ballpark of Midori.
They are awesome! I’m on my third year now, such nice planners, I got the Pro houy this year as my appts are more intense now and I need more space. I rarely very rarely bleed thru.
