I love how beautifully complex you made the relationship. there was so much story and background and it seemed like there was actual substance to the relationship rather than surface level characters made just for the bit. this is legitimately impressive storytelling and not just a great skit. The bit is funny but there's a layer of realism that is so rare to find in sketches like this. I came away from the scene actually wanting the relationship to work. I am beyond impressed! keep up the incredible work!

@@mikeybrockmann I noticed the title change and wanted to provide some hopefully helpful feedback. I dunno if it's part of a posterity strategy I'm unaware of, but I think the original title was funnier (I think it was like "if men fought like girlfriends" or something) and fit the content of the sketch better. The bit in my interpretation wasn't "look how emasculate this bf is" but role reversal for the gf being on the receiving end of toxicity. I also feel we should elevate less masculine men rather than belittle them, which again the new title seems to allude to yet the sketch beats seem to be more about the male character acting like the lowest common denominator of "attention seeking gf." *Just my 2c* been enjoying your content and want to see you get your due. Plz delete my comment if you want lol I'm probably the only person who would ever notice this

I unironically had a girlfriend that acted like Mikey here. Our relationship lasted for 2 years and it was my first ever relationship so I was still figuring out my emotions and what it means to be in a healthy relationship. Things like this happened on a weekly basis and a lot of the time over even small things. The first example that comes to mind is once when we were watching a movie, I noticed her slowly becoming visibly more and more upset, (frowning, scooting farther away from me, not watching the movie). Pausing the movie I asked her what was wrong and after about 30 minutes of silent treatment/trying to convince her to tell me what is wrong it eventually came out that she was upset that I was paying more attention to the movie than her. I think I let the relationship go on for as long as it did because I truly did love and care about her, and I was dedicated to making our relationship work. After two years of reasoning with her and what felt like trying to convince her that I actually do love and care about her, I finally realized I was miserable. Honestly i think if I saw this video while I was In a relationship with her I might have broken up with her sooner.

This is really good. The writers of this thing - kudos to you people! I don't know if people even notice it or not that their videos are devoid of any background music to support the drama being unfold before our eyes. When there's no music, the writing and its execution (ie the acting) needs to be good... like really good. And these people are bringing it. Really, really well written and acted.
