as someone who plays both fifa and nba 2k regularly i dont think fifa players realise just how good they are getting it. infact a lot of nba 2k players are literally begging EA to bring back nba live. if you think micro transactions are bad in fifa then dont ever play 2k bc you wont be able to handle it. also, as someone who does love the older games, i can say without a doubt that career mode is so much better now. going back to fifa 17 career mode is impossible for me since i got used to the current career mode which has so much more features, in both player and manager mode. might just be me tho 🤷♂️

I literally only actually play the game when I'm doing online friendlies or co-op seasons with my friends, just hating a laugh Apart from that, I genuinely barely play the game on my own, the game has just become a gambling simulator
I think nostalgia also has a part to play for us older players, we might be biased due to that and fifa certainly doesnt hold as much excitement especially as our focus shifts,I play it with the lads every now and then but not as intensely as in my teens, it was good while it lasted though
I have genuinely only played fifa 17 and its still great to this day, the graphics, the gameplay, offline and career mode play is inherently fun, the only reason i might buy a new fifa/FC game is because i want better graphics and a smoother Career mode, Ultimate team is an addiction and is definitely fun but it's simply not sustainable for casual players, it takes too much dedication to truly enjoy ultimate team every year not to mention paying the price of a new game just to keep up evey year

Agreed 100%, but actually i really enjoyed back in the days where u could play out scenarios from real life matches where u for example had to make a comeback that happened in real life so i am kinda excited for a version of that coming back. Apart from that it is more or less a copypaste of old fifas/EAFCs
I literally only actually play the game when I'm doing online friendlies or co-op seasons with my friends, just hating a laugh
Apart from that, I genuinely barely play the game on my own, the game has just become a gambling simulator
The beautiful game is dead after FIFA 18 the Football gaming experience lost it all.
I think nostalgia also has a part to play for us older players, we might be biased due to that and fifa certainly doesnt hold as much excitement especially as our focus shifts,I play it with the lads every now and then but not as intensely as in my teens, it was good while it lasted though
How Niran had killed his knee
Ah yes, the annual update patch that ea charges you money for.
Niran could’ve saved fifa if it wasn’t for his cataclysmic knee injury
I have genuinely only played fifa 17 and its still great to this day, the graphics, the gameplay, offline and career mode play is inherently fun, the only reason i might buy a new fifa/FC game is because i want better graphics and a smoother Career mode, Ultimate team is an addiction and is definitely fun but it's simply not sustainable for casual players, it takes too much dedication to truly enjoy ultimate team every year not to mention paying the price of a new game just to keep up evey year
Seasons does it for me. Picking a licensed team and playing online with it for free is good. Seasons don’t sleep on seasons.
If 25 is worse than 24 in any aspect we asked EA to change and/or fix, I'm becoming EA Sports Game Changer myself
i miss fifa street
6:41 my brother in christ the wallpaper? DON'T GET ME WRONG I GET IT but damn.
Did you get into a fight ? You look pretty bruised up mate
2024 and still there's no engine for physics based game says a lot about the industry as a whole.
Fifa had needed 3 things for as long as I have played it.
1) Contract RENEGOTIATIONS!!!
2) NEW COMMENTRY LINES: Or even different commentators.
3) Stadium revenue ACTUALLY being a thing!!
Sabrina Carpenter wallpaper is crazy work
Niran got into a proper scuffle it seems
The same issues with FIFA, Madden, NHL... everything EA touches ends up being the same.
Honestly, ultimate team killed it. I stay on my career mode and pro clubs side
ea just keeps losing licenses, like no brazil... or no world cup in out outside careermode... and more
Btw, watched yesterday some old PS1 games and remember a game where there were no real players. But the process was interesting and involving. Hence, I didn't care there was a Batutista when the game so engaging :)
Niran would have revived FIFA if he didn’t get that devastating knee injury
i still have fifa 13/16 on the 360 and 2005 on the ps2 cmon
If it weren’t for Niran’s cataclysmic knee injury fifa would still be Goated
I feel like Niran mentioned Mexico not being in the game just to let me know that I shouldn’t buy it and for that I thank him.
6:29 nah why did niran have to do my boi kimu like that?
I personally disagree i think career mode is going to be crazy
