What I was wondering was whether you could do a build using the Advanced Politicians card as your first card then stay in age 1 a little bit longer? Then whilst you're still in age 1 - you try to collect more market upgrades? I don't know how much faster the Advanced Politicians card allows for your age up but if it's a 50% reduction (50 seconds for the age up) as long as you click up by ~3:50 you'll get to age 2 at a competitive time and could be in transition with 2/3 extra vills kicking off a bigger boom potentially?

How does it translate throughout the game though I guess is the question.. Is there a vid/past twitch stream of him trying it?
@@ncasey88 I recently casted a Bo5 between revnak, foquita, roberto and eliterifleman on the UEC twitch channel, but since it was my first livecast I wasn't able to properly showcase that approach. You might be able to get the gist of it though. Revnak has a really good early to midgame, but his partner played malta, and in team that civ seems to be a handicap. So the result of those games shouldn't be used to evaluate the utility of a vill-greedy start.

There is an update and you can't build the basilica in age 1 anymore, and starts with 200w instead 100w-100c

Yes you can. Revnak gets up to 18 vills.

Yeah it’s something that people are starting to do to improve their age up time whilst having extra vills. I’ll have a look into it

3:00 how does the tc make that villager if you're popcapped? Is that a bug? Or do the extra technology vills not cost pop for some reason?
Vills come out after researching technology regardless of whether you have population space or not

@@spectrallogic Because they were already queued. In AoE3 pop will be used while units are in the queue, so you can abuse this mechanic with italy.

does the lombard card send 700 gold PER lombard or just 1 lombard? Cuz thats insane if its all lombards that are down
Just one, the more lombards the quicker the resources are converted
