We're doing this for our show now. I play Arthur and Mr. Pearce. For Arthur, we kinda went off the usual route, and portray him as a total weirdo. He speaks in this sinister voice, and puts stress on some of the worst words, like "I'm a very...FULFILLED person..." or "and you don't get that by sitting on your...BEHIND all day..." We had the audience in stitches, and some of the cast collapsed during rehearsals. It's a good way to try playing Arthur's character; I'd really recommend it.
I've got the girl's monologue for my G8 Lamda. It was very good in the video but I think I'm going to act it differently, because I don't have anyone to bounce it off to make it funny
Well.. Confusions is a brilliant play... But the girl playing Beryl .. She was just awful. I'm doing her monologue for my University audition and to be perfectly honest...That was no help. Too bad because the rest of it was quite good, she really let everybody down by breaking character and laughing.
