Burns Night 2025 we celebrated our National Bard, Robert Burns, in style in the stunning Lamlash House, located in Newmilns, Ayrshire. This is Jamie, Come Try me by Robert Burns, loosely inspired by Eddi Reader’s version and Hephz-ified.
The original poem is one of Burns’ shorter works - but one of the longer Burns songs that Rosi and I perform. It’s as if the shortness of the poem allows more space of interpretation!
