Yes! Thanks for catching that! I purposefully left it in, because any Snook angler knows this is inevitable at some point. I wasn't super familiar with the area; I think there were oysters/fallen trees near where I hooked up so I didn't want to risk destroying my feet.
It was May 2014. The prime time for Snook Season down in SW Florida. Especially with a North wind, it pushes the bait around aggressively so the Snook tend to fire up.

Is that Moken in front of you in the beginning a 10' or 12'? I have the 10' Feel free an it's a great yak for back country.
