great video, but I would have loved to see a distance view of the crane to see the entire crane in full view and not only those close-ups. The size is massive but with the closeup camera you do not get that feeling because there is no reference for size to the surroundings or people standing next to them.

I'd love to see how he made this, how he built the extensions on the crane and what he used inside to make the crane extend. All the fabrication is awesome. Where did he get the parts too???

I have made my own transformers and you can see them on kendra trains 55 and would I should get a crane to lift mine

I keep seeing counter weights for this crane but only on the floor! Never actually on the crane model? Does that feature not work?

I will guess that bids below 20000 usd will be out of question for this crane, if it ever would be sold. People who got enough money and really are interested in this crane and not can or have the time to find the owner, will just hire someone to track down the owner and offer him a bid. The builder have possible used hundreds of hours, or more than 1000 and several years to build.
Does anyone know who I can find a convention like this to go to for 2019?

if the operator worked here he would be sacked if he left the winch cable like that not keeping the layers level as it causes the cable to what is called bird nest where the cable gets all wrapped up with itself which looks like a bird nest.

where’s all of the haul trucks for the counter weights? shoulda rocked out for that lift. next time roll out with the jib, actually load the counter weights and swing the jib

This character is no operator.
You never, ever! Take the load over your crane! And he had room to go around the other way. If he didn't he should have set up so he did. And he picked that load with no counterweights.
Beautiful piece though. Shouldn't the boom transport in a dolly?
no the boom is not massive it's small so it can be transported on the crane itself
dollie is for road weight distribution. we roaded w/o dollies on our smaller cranes
