I don't know Trax but I know the Diamond District (47st 5-6ave) and that's a hard place to come up if you not talented and plugged in. It's some crabs in a bucket type shit. A lot of tricks get played out there. I know that building he got a nice set up I'll say that. All that glitters ain't gold over there but there are some stand up,no nonsense good jewelers there too.

In rivers, at concerts, to the waterpark, ect and never had a problem. No janky links. No busted clasp. Actually, that's a great fact! In the 8-9 years I've had them, I've never had to have the locks repaired. Highly recommend from a real world custom. I'm a regular guy. Not rich or famous. They treated me like I was their highest spending customer. They understand how special these statements of my achievement were and they acted like it was that important to them. I get it's consumer culture but this is the top tier of that.

Yo! I’ve been buying jewelry from 3k to 10k! I absolutely love the jewelry. Not only that I flew out there to Jersey then traveled to NY just to stop at Trax Nyc to see some jewelry for my wife! The owner was exceptionally nice. He took his time and worked with our budget and Also offered to help us more then what we had. I didn’t do the deal because I wanted to take some time but he honored it. I spend 10.5k after. Much appreciate his gift to the jewelry world!

I get that Trax is a jeweler but guys please DO NOT BUST DOWN YOUR WATCHES!! Especially Pateks, AP, and Rolex. These watches retain value and appreciate in price when it is OEM with box and papers! A jeweler will never buy back the watch nearly as much you bought it for. Keep it factory diamonds if you want diamonds on your piece!

By the time you start spending more than $500 for watch it doesn't matter. If you're trying to retain "peices" to appreciate basically not wear to resell, then thats just watch business and has nothing to do with an actual consumer. If your banking enough to basically throw away money for a "look" "lifestyle" then the resell value doesnt matter. If I were that rich, sure I'd have real plain Janes and probably really well made buss down replicas for different occasions. If you live in NYC or LA, maybe somebody checks you for having a "real" or fake patek bussdown. But in any other town would it matter if the diamonds hitting? In any other town would a chick even notice if it wasn't an buss down apple watch? Watch horologists are really weird. It tells time well and some dude took alot of time to engineer it. Great. The guy he’s beefing with on the birthday watches when he was showing the 2 Rolex’s with diamonds the second one that was yellow gold with larger diamonds on the bezel you could see the bezel loosen/tighten when he was moving the watch around in his hands. I surely hope that he properly torqued it to the right inch pounds to prevent it from randomly falling off on a customer. Keep up the good work TraxNYC and after watching your videos I’ve been inspired to finally start trying to make some of my own jewelry for family/friends eventually if it comes out any good. I’ll probably start working with silver because it is significantly cheaper than gold is but eventually I will get into gold and already looked into sourcing stones. Is $5-$7 per single point diamonds (rated between VS2-VVS1) a good price for them at the individual level? If so then the source might be good to talk to about getting a larger order where the price could possibly get better. I know when learning to do the different settings that losing the silver will be far cheaper than the lost gold from possibly having to reforge poorly made pieces until I get the hang of it completely. I already have a 3D printer and a good amount of the tools needed minus some of the specialized presses, twisters, chemicals, and a couple tools used in the forging processes/handling of the hot materials. I’ve always had a love and appreciation for precious metals and precious stones since I was a child & my grandfather used to make jewelry years before I was born & he had an accident. I think it will be a great hobby that I can transfer silver/gold bars we’ve purchased for storages of wealth already into pieces of fine jewelry that will still hold the wealth but is something we can wear and pass down through the family for generations hopefully. I’ve always been meticulous in my records so I’ll be sure to map each piece I make with specific materials/stone #, grade, and location of each stone. This is in case any piece ever needs to be sold I’ll have all of the evidence of what is in it to fetch the best price possible for us or future family members during a tough time. If you do end up moving your business to Austin or San Antonio (I would personally put it in New Braunfels which is about halfway between both & has the local clientele that will spend big bucks. Also there are currently talks about a hyper loop being put in to connect Austin-San Antonio with all of the surrounding major communities on both sides of IH-35.) because you will draw in the crowds from both cities and all surrounding communities. It would be even cool to possibly work with y’all or for y’all one day here in the Lone Star State.
