No, I haven't done a video on replacing those bulbs. The replacement appears to be very similar to the fog light bulb replacement; there is a video in the RL playlist on replacing those bulbs.
Love your videos. I have a 97 RL, same engine, but I don't have HID lights. I understand that putting HID bulbs in a halogen headlamp housing/reflector is incorrect, mainly due to the reflector pattern causing glare. I want to swap out my headlamps with the right ones, except I can't remove the housing (driver side) Can you do a video on headlamp housing replacement?
Headlight removal is on my list for the 1999, but it might be a few months before I get to it. @@bagofsoup8199 If they're replacing both bulbs, I'd still take that deal. I don't begrudge paying any skilled labor if I can't or don't want to do the job myself.
Brand new headlights are pricey - the dealer is the only option I've seen. Used headlights can be found at the salvage yard, online forums such as the 96-04 Acura RL Facebook group, eBay, or sites like car-part.com

What if I changed out the bulb and still no light? I changed everything from one side to the other and there is no power going to the passenger side

Told me it was a $100 job I almost laughed in the mechanics face
Did that include a high-quality bulb? If so, I'd take that deal if I didn't want to do this job myself.

@@adriangreen9785 any D2r bulb will work, Osram, Phillips, and morimoto are good options most of the time
