This young Australians, they have no idea how coal mining works. Drones is not an utensil knife.

Are you using drones to improve your country’s traffic crisis ?

Been there, done that. This is not a solution.

Is there a reason that most humans can not be replaced with robots in mining?

Maybe it will happen when robots are more advanced.

Advanced in what way specifically? Robots now operate autonomously on other planets.

@@erikthompson404 I don't know enough about mining or robots to properly answer your question. I was just thinking that if humans are still working in mines, then the robots would have to be more human-like to work in mines. It takes a lot of Artifical-Intelligence etc for a robot to be like a human. And scientists are still working on making robots more human-like; that's why I said "Maybe it will happen when robots are more advanced."

@@philip-at-tube may I present the idea of changing the mine to work for robots? I have never been in a mine but it seems like a mine developed for robots could much more efficient. If they are following a 1 foot vein they could use 1 foot excavation robots. No reason for oversized shafts. Much less debris.
Thank you for your response. I appreciate the chance to explore the idea.

@@erikthompson404 That is interesting. What really struck me about your comment is you said "a mine developed for robots could be much more efficient." If I understand correctly, you are saying (something like) we already have robots that are at the evolutionary stage that they are at, so why not accept where they are at, and build mines according to what current robots are currently capable of. I find your comment very interesting, because instead of saying we should adapt robots to fit in mines, you are saying we should adapt mines to fit with current robot technology. It's like you turned everything upside down, and came up with a totally new way of thinking about mining. Very creative thinking, and interesting! :-)
