I was in Lauriya till my 8th Class and visited this place few times specially on new year day(1st Jan). People visit this place more on 1st Jan for Picnic. I have also climbed on top of this NandanGadh(Local people name it) and view from top is really beautiful and we can see entire nearby area. Thanks Lallantop for this. धन्यवाद सिद्धांत, रूहानी और पुरे लल्लनटॉप टीम का लौरिया नंदनगढ़ का स्तूप को अपने कैमरे में जगह देने के लिए | मेरा पैतृक घर गॉव गोबरौरा लौरिया नंदनगढ़ से 3 किलोमीटर की दुरी पर है , मेरी दसवीं तक की पढ़ाई लौरिया से ही हुयी है तो नंदन गढ़ आना जाना तो छात्र जीवन का हिस्सा रहा है | २ - ३ चीजे मै स्पष्ट कर रहा हु जो बाबा माली बोल गए पर सत्य से परे है ;
१. अर्जुन ने शब्दबेदी नहीं बल्कि " सिक " का बाड़ चलया था इसी लिए ये नदी को स्थानीय लोग सिकरहना कहते है, आगे इसी नदी को गंडक/कोसी कहते है | सिक एक प्रकार का जंगली पौधा है जिससे पहले घर में दादी/नानी लोग टोकरी बीनते थे, अब ये परम्परा भी खत्म हो गयी है |
२. नंदनगढ़ इसलिए कहते है इसको की ये नन्द वंश के राजा घनानंद का महल था, यहां से २० किलोमीटर दूर आपको नरकटियागंज के पास चानकीगढ़ मिलेगा जो चाणक्य का निवास स्थान था, चाणक्य जब घनानंद के द्वारा तिरस्कृत हुए तब जा कर चानकीगढ़ में रहे और यहां पर ही चन्द्रगुप्त मौर्या को शिक्षा - दीक्षा देकर पहले नन्द वंश का समूल विनाश करवाया फिर मौर्या वंश का डंका पुरे साम्राज्य में फैला |
३. अशोक स्तम्भ को (एक मुँह वाले सिंह) को स्थानीय लोग लउर बाबा कहते है और पूजा अर्चना करते है, अशोक स्तम्भ परिसर में ही आपको छोटे - छोटे स्तूप दिखेंगे जो अब बहुत से विलुप्त/अतिक्रमित भी हो गए है |
इसके आलावा आप यहाँ भी जाये ;
1. इसके आलावा आप वाल्मीकिनगर भी जाये जो बिहार का एकमात्र टाइगर रिज़र्व है , ताजा गरणा के आधार पे यहाँ ३२ बाघ है, वाल्मीकिनगर लोकसभा सीट जो भारत के 520 लोकसभा क्षेत्र में से १ नंबर लोकसभा क्षेत्र है, यहाँ लोकसभा के लिए उपचुनाव भी हो रहे है, आपको इस क्षेत्र में विधान सभा के साथ लोकसभा चुनाव का भी रंग देखने को मिलेगा |
