I tried to max my aero along with grip, didn't work, came here and saw your video about lightweight and power, I couldn't believe how much faster my car became..
Hey, I had made a video about it last year I think, nothing significant has changed since then, so the video is still relevant, here's the link: th-cam.com/video/TYARbiSJxws/w-d-xo.html
Wow glad to see someone agreeing with me I’ve always gone with lightweight top priority too 🤙🙌 very good stuff, because lightweight makes everything so smooth in the corners and quick
Hey, I've played one race with the Alpha Tauri, what I've noticed is that the AI has become much quicker which is in a way good, but sadly their pace is only in the straight line, which means they're super slow in the corners and super quick in the straights, so that's not very realistic, it would have been better when it was more balanced. What I also noticed is that the engine wear increases more quickly, and it's more expensive to repair your car. All in all it's okay, but no major improvements
@@choiruladiib9 A bit, we've seen last year the AI being a rocket on the straights and a turtle in the corners in duels, but not in career. It seems like they're using that AI in career for this year, which I don't really like, it's not realistic. It would have been better if it was quick in the corners and also roundabout a similar kind of pace on the straights, or just slightly quicker on the straights
I wouldn't max the lightweight out irrespective of how less the power becomes, I would find a balance between the two, so you should focus on lightweight, and after that power with a slightly less PI. And about the Red Bull, yes it's the 3rd fastest car, at Silverstone around 1s slower than the Aston
I would focus on the Ferrari, on most of the tracks in combination with the right team principal it will be the fastest car. The Aston is a really good car too, but just faster in some tracks
Hey, there are three types of crafting resources: 1) Bolts: you earn this by dismantling normal parts that you use in your setup, by the Bolts you earn, you can craft an item of your choice to eventually be able to upgrade that part. So say for example you dismantled the v6 engine part, you've earned some Bolts now, and you can use those Bolts to create an item of another part, for example airbox. 2) Carbon fibres: you earn this by dismantling chassis parts. You can use those Carbon fibres to create an item of a specific car to eventually be able to upgrade it. 3) Contracts: you can earn this by dismantling team principals or drivers. You can use those Contracts to create an item for a specific team principal or driver, to eventually be able to upgrade the part.
I managed to gain a fair bit of XP, coins and levels due to where I was before in the game… but I also feel like I was jipped. I was in the Pro league & now I’m at level 80? It’s good because I’m playing again… but I spent time (and money) to be where I was…
Yeah true, it seems like everything has changed in terms of leveling up and duels, we can now level up much quicker whereas in the past it was much harder
You can earn coins by completing challenges and progressions, also sometimes they will give a free pack in the shop, where you can get some coins. There's not really a fast way to earn coins
The Aston is definitely NOT the 2nd fastest. I’d say it’s 4th or 5th quickest. The RB, Merc and Ferrari are all much quicker around the track. The Aston is a total dog in the corners.
I don't agree. I've just upgraded my Aston to lvl 7 which makes it equal to my Ferrari chassis level, and I also ran the Aston and Red Bull again at Silverstone with a similar kind of setup (using the same team principal for both, and focusing on lightweight first, then power, then aero and then grip), and I did a 1:19,3 with the Aston and a 1:20,6 with the Red Bull. The Red Bull was able to match the Aston in the first sector, but lost out massively in S2 and S3, even though the Red Bull felt better through maggots and becketts and also gained some time, it lost out massively on the straights. The Mercedes was even slower. The Aston is quite okay in medium and high speed corners, it's weak point is the low speed corners. So a track like Hungary wouldn't suit the Aston, as I've also tested. I ran the Ferrari and Aston on a wet Hungary, amd and I did a 1:15,4 with the Ferrari and a 1:16,4 with the Aston. I'm yet to test the Red Bull here, but it can be quicker than the Aston as the Red Bull is good in the low speed
@@MrHero7 I have a Mclaren I used last year. Same PI. 1-2 seconds quicker than the AM. Its handling blows the Aston away. I have a nearly 3000 PI ASton currently. I got beat by 3 seconds at Monza from a Williams. And my lap time was great. No where was I faster. Sorry, but I hope you didn't spend money on the AM. I'm back to using my Mclaren.
@@MrHero7 bro I too have am lvl 8....Do I need to focus purely on power or lightweight for best results? Or is it an equal balance bw the two? And does aero have much effect on top speed?
Hey, no no definitely not the Mercedes, it's the 4th fastest car this year. Save for the Ferrari, it's the fastest car on most of the tracks, on tracks with long straights the Aston is faster, but in general the Ferrari is better

Can you make a video of settings for beginners???

If you aren’t already racing on tilt settings. I went from analog to tilt and shaved 3-5seconds off all lap times in the first couple weeks.👍

So would you recommend getting the Aston Martin?
Red bull? At no.3?
Also, maxing out lightweight irrespective of how less power comes is a good idea?
