I think we can drain our own energy sometimes via being empathetic towards narc/energy vampires unknowingly and lovingly ofc. Also, drains can take form in thoughts such as perfectionism, comparison, self sabotage..etc. it’s only when we address our inner demons first than we can then put accountability to other people’s demons. It takes 2 to tango. Heal yourself first then avoid other people’s demons.

This works for energy vampires
This was one of the most successful. I had been having problems with an energy vampire who wanted nothing to do with me most of the time when I was interested. Then, they would wait until it was on my time, if I wanted to go to the store, a meeting, out with others etc, they would become angry if told no. The demanding straight yes/no answers after three seconds, yet it being ok for them to ignore me for a week was when I finally said ok, you need to go after an exhausting month of being put on the spot.

Feel like I have an energy drain occurring but not sure where from - possibly an old school friend who was in touch the other day. I know that energy drains can occur unintentionally and non-maliciously- just if the other person needs a bit of a boost they may take a bit of energy.

Unfortunately this stuff is very prevalent in so-called "spiritual" groups.
It’s basically trying to convince a prisoner they aren’t in prison.
And if that works, well then...
The prisoner doesn’t even try to escape.

Another analogy would be someone trying to convince you: to never go to the gym.
Maybe recognizing that you could get injured if you don’t understand proper form etc...

Yes. I'm 9months late to responding but I have recently found out about this. Sihir or negative transfers are quite real. Even if healed or protected being in someone's energy field can affect (positive or negative)
