after watching this video I believe we didn't deliver Morata enough crosses....Knowing the fact that he had so many headers in his first season. Ot was only Azpi who used to cross. No winger other than Odoi did that for him.
@@Yousufsaifi there were not that strong wingers except Hazard, who'd dribble towards the centre and the strikers have to go wide at that time to make him spaces. Willian? He delivered a number of times, but most of them were blind delivery.
After Drogba, the gameplay strategies were changed. Strikers are no longer the focal point. They are more like a support strikers while Drogba was the target man. They have to pull wide, which makes it hard for them to score while wingers and midfielders have more chance to score goals.
I think Lampard is changing the gameplay strategy back gradually, i love every minute of it and feel somehow secure this season although I don't know what fate will bring us ultimately, but i sense positive fate 🥰

billy gilmour as well, he's gonna be insane. His passing game is like a hybrid of jorginho and fabregas, not that he's that good right now, but he can control and get the final killer pass. He can be insane if he bulks up
Kaushik Sabarirajan gilmour does have the potential to be a great player, but I think he could do with a loan move next season. the amount of chelsea youth that have come through before him are playing brilliantly so far, I don't think he'll get enough game time for him to develop. I think a loan move will be good for him to get weekly game time under his belt.
With improved finishing, he'll be f* brilliant.

Bernard Asante nobody is doubting his talent but to be a legend, you need to be at the club long enough.
What I love about him is that he got speed, technique but he know when and how to release the ball. He dribbles to put teammates in advantage position, not just dribble and backpass or even run into opponents like Willian.
And he's not too selfish. He will try to pass if one of the team mates is in a better position.

If you look up the stats and compare Messi to hudson-odoi they have basically identical stats in terms of games played, goals and assists at the same age. Also Chelsea are going to dominate Europe in the next couple of years with Hudson odoi, Abraham, Mount, Loftus Cheek, James, Tomori, Christensen, Gilmour all at the centre.
