So I’ve seen this a lot of times in the past, but now that I have seen all of Naruto and have started Shippuden, I have so much more appreciation for this than I did in the past. I always thought the dance was awesome but now that I get what’s going on, I’m in absolute AWE. My jaw is on the floor! Amazing job!
Even if you hated Shippuden (just to justify your liking to other shows), we all can admit that this performance made us remember why Naruto, despite its flaws, is one of the most popular & loved anime of all time.
Naruto exists because of Yuyu Hakusho and Flame of Recca (who both start the Hokage system). They are all made by the same studio, Studio Pierrot for the anime.

I was SHOCKED when I read this only took third place. I mean, how much time and effort did this group of, what, 30+ people, to get this choreographed and become quick change artists? Probably a LOT. And it wouldn't surprise me if I found out it took like a year (not counting rehearsals once everyone could change fast enough and had the routine memorized) to get everything worked out and ready to hit the stage. Then maybe like 3-6 months of rehearsals to make sure everyone could stay in sync and change and do everything on time and in the right order.
I won't say anything about the 3rd place but this performance gave me goosebumps from the beginning till the end. I cherish watching Naruto and this performance was out of the bar. You guys are awesome. Respect from all the anime freaks 👍. Keep up the good work.
