Good to see the track again after being invited to have a run around and race on the track years ago.
Back then your uncle explained how he was pleased to track down quite a quantity of Japanese Kogure track suitable for 1/24 th cars. The Scalextric short lived 1/24 track, from about 1968, was three lane track, so this might still be the Kogure track.
Also I remember your uncle describing his first racing car kit before Scalextric from the era when the kits consisted mostly of a block of balsa and parts, with plans, cross sections and instructions of how to carve it into a racing car body. An expensive purchase from a long gone shop underneath the railway arches along the Yarra River.

Mate gotta love old school, I'm in that age bracket, and I run scalextric analogue, but I have the newer cars, mainly V8 super cars and Aussie touring cars. But I do remember a lot of those cars, keep showing the collections it's great stuff 👍

Those 1/24 scale cars are cool Surprised by the level of detail on them
Not bad effort from the old man but just needs to slow down when filming the cars. Wanted a good look but he was too fast🤣🤣
