nearly a year later, im still in awe over the outro ryan wrote for this episode. it's incredibly touching and thoughtful, and to me it sums up my feelings on why it's worth thinking and talking about these things to begin with. there is a glory to the unexplained, a shine that would be lost if they were understood. maybe it's the stories the questions let us tell.

started watching this show my freshman year of highschool and now i'm a sophomore in college. thank you for literally shaping me to the person I am now. love you guys so much
That final monologue was the most chilling thing from this whole show, that and Shane destroying the spirit box really tied the series together in a beautiful way
I love how they had the spooky music playing when they were drawing sallie with an eyepatch and gun as if there was anything they could do to make that look like anything but a pair of kids in unsupervised detention
Pairing a skeptic and an absolute paranormal devotee was exactly what every other ghost hunting show was missing. This format was amazing, and I’m looking forward to the ghoul boy content moving forward over on Watcher.
There’s one other show I use to watch with my aunt that had a psychic who would go into houses that were haunted and draw and say what she saw and a nonbeliever who would do research on the house and see if it added up. Very interesting but i can’t remember the name :(

Haha yeah I mean ironically the whole show just ended up being definitive proof they're not real since they've been to hundreds of places and never found anything more than minute blips with 20 other explanations haha I mean I don't know how Ryan still freaks himself out I will say what made this so great over the years besides Ryan and Shane was having Shane there, all the other ghost hunter shows are either blatant frauds with slick editing or just a circle jerk of confirmation bias haha Shane keeps Ryan from taking huge leaps and balances it out

Tbh, Shane seemed legitimately scared in this one. I know he has his own stance and typically leans more towards the side of disbelief, but I wonder what he was hearing when he went in there on his own in particular as well because he did seem pretty creeped out when he was doing the outside interview when Ryan was having his solo turn
I'm so proud of Ryan. 5 years ago, he saw a flashlight switch off and screamed so loud that God himself could hear him, and now he just goes 'Oh, are you here now?' Character development.

The part when Sallie gave their drawing a zero was funny. Then one of the ghosts said "That's Sally" and they laughed at it was wholesome but weird and creepy.

A part of me was getting emotional listening to the lady ask if they’d seen any ghosts and that person who said they liked to dance. I love how they had the spooky music playing when they were drawing sallie with an eyepatch and gun as if there was anything they could do to make that look like anything but a pair of kids in unsupervised detention
Pairing a skeptic and an absolute paranormal devotee was exactly what every other ghost hunting show was missing. This format was amazing, and I’m looking forward to the ghoul boy content moving forward over on Watcher.
There’s one other show I use to watch with my aunt that had a psychic who would go into houses that were haunted and draw and say what she saw and a nonbeliever who would do research on the house and see if it added up. Very interesting but i can’t remember the name :(

Tbh, Shane seemed legitimately scared in this one. I know he has his own stance and typically leans more towards the side of disbelief, but I wonder what he was hearing when he went in there on his own in particular as well because he did seem pretty creeped out when he was doing the outside interview when Ryan was having his solo turn
