Very nice video - all the charm of the winter off-season. Rant: Those buildings to the right of Funland are a disaster. They destroy the view of the front, same as the Mataland retail park. I can remember when the Floral Gardens were next to Funland: Bandstand, deckchairs and, once, the Radio One Roadshow :-). There used to be an open-air lido and a large grassy area where the Orange Lodge paraders would rest after the mid-day drinking session.

No that the one in Birkdale the fisherman's test they used it a a a morgue when the ship went down many years ago
