All those who are criticizing the singer must feel ashamed. He didn't do bad and in any case its easy to criticize someone, but very difficult to produce better. So, if you say he didnt do good then how about you produce better than him.
Genius! Playing tabla and singing is not easy, not many can do it but he did! Tearful ghazal beautifully renderered musically and emotionally. Nice smiling girl musicians.

I am not sure if you went out of tune while singing as many criticize here. There are thousands of good videos of Tabla playing and also Ghazal singing but it is extremely difficult to sing especially a Ghazal while playing any percussion instrument. You have a rare talent and I give a lot of respect to you. Sorry if you get offended due to many criticism on this video.

It is wrong to compare this music with any other musician or even Mehdi Hassan. Mehdi Hassan could not sing like Cassius either.....or play Tabla as proficiently as Cassius....LOL.....just saying. So ease up and and enjoy the music this humble and talented person has to offer. Completely agree. He has a special talent. However, as an audience, I would prefer the perfect execution of the song instead of watching an artist sacrificing top quality to showcase his multiple talents. Leave the tabla to another maestro instead.
It’s not necessary that every difficult thing should be appreciated. What’s bad is bad. If someone undresses and runs nude on the streets, we can’t appreciate him just because he did something difficult.

If you play tabla n sing it's really difficult to get along with tabla playing bcos it's much easier with harmonium. Totally opposite. He is good. Nobody could do what he did. Wonderfully done sir.

It is not easy to play Tabla while singing . Congratulation ! good effort. But Mehdi Hassan is a legend and we cannot expect anyone to just create music like him .
C. KHAN has done a unique thing : singing and playing tabla at the same time. He made few mistakes in verses while reciting poetry of Ahmed Faraz though. Overall a beautiful performance.

Not all persons can play tabala and sing simultaneously. Very few talented can do both because they are really gifted.
